Lalín abre subvencións de 100.000 euros para as súas bandas de música

The Lalín City Council opens the call for grants for music bands and traditional Galician music groups in the municipality for the year 2026, with a maximum amount of 100,000 euros. The extract of the call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO no. 176) on September 14, 2026, and applications may be submitted during the 15 business days following the publication.

The call, identified in the National Grants Database (BDNS) under number 928557, was signed on September 9, 2026, by the Councilwoman for Education and Culture, Begoña Blanco Blanco. Object and amount

The grants aim to finance the implementation of activities and cover the operating expenses of local musical entities, corresponding to the period between December 1, 2025, and November 30, 2026. The grants will be made effective against budget application 334.48930 of the municipal budget.

Requirements for beneficiary entities

Music bands and traditional Galician music groups from the Lalín City Council that meet the following requirements may apply for the grants:

  • Be validly constituted and have their registered office in Lalín.
  • Be registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations and have updated information.
  • Carry out their activities totally or partially in the municipality.
  • Be composed of a minimum of 30 members and have a management position.
  • Have no pending justification for any grant awarded by the council.
  • Be up to date with tax obligations, with Social Security, with the Autonomous Administration, and with the council.

Entities in which any of the circumstances provided for in Article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Grants, and in Article 10 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on grants in Galicia, occur are excluded. Furthermore, beneficiary entities may not be beneficiaries of grants for cultural activities called by the council.

Deadline and processing

The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 business days starting from the day following the publication of the extract in the official gazette. All required requirements and conditions must be met on the date the submission deadline ends.

The call represents significant economic support for the musical fabric of Lalín, which brings together bands and traditional music ensembles with an important presence in the cultural life of the municipality. Interested entities have two weeks to formalize their applications and thus guarantee the financing of their activities and operating expenses.
