Por FactBox Admin

La Zubia nombra a Rodríguez Torres coordinador de Cultura eventual

The La Zubia City Council has appointed Juan Carlos Rodríguez Torres as coordinator of Culture, Citizen Participation, and Sustainable Development as temporary staff (personal eventual). The decision was adopted by Mayoral resolution no. 2026-1866, dated September 7, 2026, and signed by the mayor-president Purificación López Quesada. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada no. 196, dated October 9, 2026, with the official reference BOP-GRA-2026-196018.

The appointment appears in section I, Local Administration, of the provincial gazette, within the Personnel section of the La Zubia City Council. The role of temporary staff is intended for the performance of trust-based functions or special advisory services, and its termination regime refers to article 104 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of the Local Regime, a regulation that the resolution itself expressly invokes.

The resolution is structured into four sections: the appointment, the effects and Social Security registration, the publication and notification, and the internal transfer to the affected municipal areas. The document was signed in La Zubia on October 1, 2026, eight days before its publication in the provincial gazette.

A position reserved for temporary staff

The position of Coordinator of Culture, Citizen Participation, and Sustainable Development is reserved for temporary staff of the La Zubia City Council, according to the first section of the resolution. It is, therefore, a trust-based appointment and not a position filled through a competitive selection process.

The scope of action for the new coordinator covers three municipal areas: Culture, Citizen Participation, and Sustainable Development, according to the official designation of the position recorded in the announcement.

Effects from September 7 and Social Security registration

The appointment takes effect from September 7, 2026, the same date as the resolution, and includes the corresponding Social Security registration, in accordance with the second section of the agreement.

The resolution also establishes the temporary nature of the position: termination will occur automatically upon the termination or expiration of the mandate of the authority to whom the appointee provides their trust or advisory function, in accordance with article 104 of Law 7/1985, of April 2.

Publication, notification, and internal transfer

The Mayoral agreement orders a series of actions to validate and disseminate the appointment:

  • Publish the appointment in the Official Gazette of the Province, on the Electronic Office, and on the notice board of the La Zubia City Council.
  • Notify the interested party of the resolution.
  • Forward the document to the Personnel and Audit Area for the corresponding purposes.

The announcement is included in issue number 196 of the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada, corresponding to Friday, October 9, 2026, on page 63 of a total of 78.

The publication in the official gazette confirms the appointment and provides public notice to third parties, so that the residents of La Zubia already know who is assuming the coordination of Culture, Citizen Participation, and Sustainable Development. As it involves temporary staff, the position is not intended to be permanent: it automatically expires when the mandate of the authority to whom they provide advice ceases or expires, meaning their continuity is linked to the current municipal government team.
