La Universidad de Zaragoza convoca concurso de traslados para programadores

The University of Zaragoza has announced a transfer competition for the definitive provision of nine vacant Programmer and Diploma Technician positions on campus. The call, signed by the Rectorate on August 25, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of Aragon number 174, dated September 8, 2026, with the official reference BOA20260908003.

The deadline for submitting applications is fifteen business days starting from the day following the publication in the gazette, and the competition must be resolved within a maximum of two months from the close of that period.

Regulatory Framework and Calling Body

The call, identified as CT-07/2026, is processed under the general regime of the university civil service. It is governed by Organic Law 2/2023, of March 22, on the University System, the revised text of the Basic Statute of Public Employees (Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015), Royal Decree 364/1995 on the provision of positions, the University Statutes, and the Agreement for administrative and service civil servants.

The resolution is signed by delegation of the Rector by the Manager, Alfonso Carlos Peña Ochoa, in accordance with the Resolution of April 25, 2025, published in gazette number 85.

Positions and Requirements

The nine announced positions belong to the Scale of Intermediate IT Technicians, integrated into Group A, Subgroup A2, with level 23 and specific supplement 23.02. All are located in Zaragoza, assigned to the IT and Communications Service and, in one case, to the Department of Computer Science and Systems Engineering of the School of Engineering and Architecture.

  • 8 Programmer positions (areas of Administration and Electronics, Software, Applications, Communications, Human Resources and Economic Management, Network Services and Users).
  • 1 Diploma Technician position (laboratory and workshop technique).

Career civil servants stationed at the University may participate, regardless of their administrative status, except for those with final suspensions. It is required to belong to the aforementioned scale or equivalent, to have completed two years since taking possession of the last definitive destination, and to meet the requirements by the close of the deadline.

Procedure and Phases

Applications are submitted electronically at sede.unizar.es/solicita, using an electronic certificate, Cl@ve, or concerted identification (NIP and administrative password). Applicants may opt for the competition phase, the results phase, or both, indicating the positions in order of preference.

  • Publication of the provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates, with five business days for appeals.
  • Provisional award in the competition phase, with three business days for appeals.
  • Results phase for unfilled positions, with three business days to apply.
  • Final resolution and taking of office in accordance with Article 48 of Royal Decree 364/1995.

The awarded destination is non-renounceable and, if it involves a change of location, the transfer does not generate a right to compensation. Anyone who obtains a position may not compete again until two years have passed since their incorporation.

Relevance

The call opens an internal mobility route for the campus technical civil service staff, allowing for the consolidation of definitive destinations in the computer science and digital services area of the University. Interested parties must submit their application within fifteen business days from the publication, and all information is available on the official notice board and on the institution’s human resources website.
