La TRADE amplía a 276 millones las ayudas a pymes andaluzas

The General Directorate of the Business Agency for Transformation and Economic Development (TRADE) has increased the available credit for grants for growth and competitiveness improvement projects for Andalusian SMEs from 201,063,078 to 276,063,078 euros. This is done through the Resolution of October 7, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía (BOJA) no. 203, of October 20, 2026, on page 13647. The increase amounts to 75 million euros and will be used to process applications that remained pending due to a lack of budget.

The origin: a call exhausted in July

The call was structured through the Resolution of July 1, 2024, of the General Directorate of TRADE, published in BOJA no. 130, of July 5, 2024, under Decree 114/2024, of June 18. The total maximum amount was then set at 201,063,078 euros, with this initial distribution among items:

  • 1051 17 0013 G/72B/ 770000/ 00/ A411CA21EB 2024001230: 40,000,000 euros.
  • 1051 17 0013 G/72B/ 770000/ 00/ A411CB21EB 2024001225: 161,063,078 euros.

Through the Resolution of July 3, 2026, published in BOJA no. 130, of July 8, 2026, the application submission period was declared closed due to the exhaustion of credit, effective from the day of its publication, and the inadmissibility of applications submitted thereafter was ordered. The reason was the confirmation that there was insufficient budget to meet all the requests received up to that date.

An additional credit of 75 million

The seventh resolution of the call provides that, in the event of subsequent increases in the budget allocated to finance the actions, the head of the TRADE Directorate may grant subsidies to those who, while meeting the requirements, were not beneficiaries due to a lack of budgetary availability. These grants must follow the same order of application submission and for an amount equivalent to the budgetary increase.

On July 27, 2026, the General Directorate of European Funds approved a budgetary modification that provided an additional credit of 75,000,000 euros to cover the expenditure of this aid line, charged to measure A411CB21EB. To this is added an internal redistribution: 40,000,000 euros were transferred from measure A411CA21EB to A411CB21EB, without changing the total maximum amount of the call.

No new deadline and no guarantee for all files

The first resolution of the resolution published today publicizes the increase in credit, but specifies two limits: it does not entail the opening of a new application submission period and it does not guarantee the financing of all pending files. The resulting new maximum allocation is set in a single item:

  • 1051 17 0013 G/72B/ 770000/ 00/ A411CB21EB 2024001225: 276,063,078 euros.

The second resolution specifies that the additional credit will be dedicated to the processing and, where applicable, the granting of subsidies corresponding to applications submitted until the end of the period declared by the Resolution of July 3, 2026, subject to the requirements of the regulatory bases, the correlative order of entry, and budget availability. The resolution was signed in Seville on October 7, 2026, by the general director, Antonio Manuel Castro Jiménez, and falls under the Ministry of University, Industry, Energy, and Innovation.

Impact on the productive fabric

The measure returns companies to the processing circuit that had been left out due to a matter of budgetary scheduling, not because of failure to meet requirements. For the affected Andalusian SMEs, the key is that the order of priority remains intact: whoever submitted their application first retains their position, and the new funds are applied in that order as far as they reach. The official warning that the credit does not necessarily cover all pending files leaves open the possibility that some applicants will remain without funding.
