La Terra Alta aprova l'arranjament del local de l'Oficina Jove comarcal

The Governing Board of the Terra Alta County Council, in a session held on June 18, 2026, initially approved the project “Renovation of premises for the County Youth Office”, with a budget of €201,827.90. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona on September 15, 2026 (official reference CVE 2026-08501), and opens a period of thirty business days for claims and allegations to be filed.

A project funded with base and VAT

The total budget of the project is broken down into two items:

  • €166,799.92 corresponding to the bidding base.
  • €35,027.98 as value added tax (VAT), currently at a rate of 21%.

The sum of both items constitutes the global budget of €201,827.90 that the County Council will allocate to the adaptation of the premises intended to house the County Youth Office.

Public exhibition period and allegations

The project will be open to the public for thirty business days, during which any interested person may submit claims and allegations. After this period, the Terra Alta County Council will resolve the project and, if applicable, the claims and allegations submitted.

The documentation will be available to interested parties through two channels:

  • At the Secretariat of the Terra Alta County Council (C/ Povet de la Plana, 4 de Gandesa), during public office hours, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm.
  • On the E-board of the county website, within the open government and transparency section.

Regulatory framework and signature

The publication is made in accordance with Article 235.2 of Legislative Decree 2/2003, of April 28, which approves the revised text of the Municipal and Local Regime Law of Catalonia (TRLMC), and Article 37 of Decree 179/1995, of June 13, which approves the Regulation of works, activities, and services of local entities (ROAS), as well as transparency regulations. The announcement, electronically signed in Gandesa, bears the signature of the president of the County Council, Joan Aubanell Sabaté.

Impact for the youth of the county

The adaptation of the premises represents a step forward for the implementation of the County Youth Office in Terra Alta, a service intended to concentrate attention, information, and guidance addressed to the young population of the territory. The final resolution of the project, once the allegations period has expired, will determine the execution schedule of the works and the launch of a facility that the municipalities of the county expect as a key tool for youth revitalization.
