Siberia definitively resolves Leader grants for 23 productive projects

The La Siberia Rural Development Center Association has notified the final favorable resolutions for the aid applications processed under the Leader 1/2025 call for aid, aimed at productive projects within the framework of the Local Participatory Development Strategy (EDLP) of La Siberia 2023-2027. The announcement, signed on September 4, 2026, by the president of the association, Rosa María Araújo Cabello, is published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura (DOE) number 178, dated Tuesday, September 15, 2026, with official reference 2026081513.
The final resolution follows the publication in DOE no. 148, of August 3, 2026, of the announcement of the provisional resolution proposal, whose proposals were accepted by the beneficiaries. The Board of Directors of the association, in its meeting on September 3, 2026, definitively resolved the applications listed in the annex of the announcement.
Regulatory Framework and Financing
The aid is regulated by Decree 78/2024, of July 23 (DOE number 146, of July 29, 2024), which orders the Leader calls of the Local Action Groups that manage Intervention 7119 Leader of the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) 2023-2027 of Spain. The funding is co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), the Regional Government of Extremadura, and the General State Administration.
The notification is carried out in accordance with Article 34 of Decree 78/2024, the ninth section of the Leader 1/2025 call, and Article 45 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

The final resolution of the Leader 1/2025 call consolidates support for productive activity in one of the most depopulated regions of Extremadura, where the Leader methodology channels European funds toward the local business, cooperative, and self-employed fabric. With 23 approved projects, the measure reinforces employment and population retention in the territory of La Siberia, in line with the objectives of the 2023-2027 CAP.
