It is budgetarily funded and included in the 2026 Public Employment Offer of the La Roda City Council, published in the Official Gazette of the Province number 78, dated July 8, 2026.
The call is supported by Article 97 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of the Local Regime, and by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30, which approves the revised text of the Law of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee, together with Law 4/2011, of March 10, on Public Employment of Castilla-La Mancha.
Requirements and submission of applications
Applicants must meet the required criteria by the last day of the application submission period:
- Spanish nationality, without prejudice to the provisions for nationals of other European Union Member States.
- Physical and psychological capacity and aptitude for the performance of the position, be at least sixteen years old, and not exceed the maximum compulsory retirement age.
- Higher degree (Grado or Diplomatura) in Social Education, titles recognized as equivalent, or legal authorization by an Official College of Social Educators.

Two examination exercises and merit scale
The competitive examination phase is valued at 75 points and consists of two exercises: a questionnaire of 60 questions plus five reserve questions, with four alternative answers and a penalty for errors, and the resolution of two practical cases on the specific part of the syllabus. In both cases, it is necessary to obtain at least 5 points to pass.
The merit phase adds up to 25 points, distributed as follows:
- Professional experience: up to 15 points, at a rate of 0.5 points for each month worked in the Public Administration as a Social Educator and 0.2 points for each month in third-sector entities or private companies.
- Higher qualifications: up to 10 points, with 6 points for a doctoral degree, 6 points for a degree other than the one required for access, and up to 4 points for complementary training, valued at 0.0025 points per hour and without counting courses shorter than 30 hours.
Qualifying Tribunal and job bank
The Qualifying Tribunal shall be a collegiate body and will be composed, at a minimum, of five titular members with an equal number of substitutes, always in an odd number, career civil servants or permanent contractual staff. Their appointment will be made public in the Official Gazette of the Province of Albacete along with the final list of admitted and excluded applicants.
The job bank derived from the process will be valid for three years, extendable for one more, and will be used to cover substitutions due to service needs, with prior communication to the members and a period of three days to accept or reject the appointment.
The call opens a stable public employment route within the social services of La Roda for those with degrees in Social Education from the region, who will also have a job bank valid for three years to access temporary substitutions in the municipality.
