La Roda announces three administrative assistant positions via open competitive examination

The City Council of La Roda (Albacete) has published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Albacete number 104, dated September 7, 2026, the regulatory bases for the selection process for the permanent filling of three Administrative Assistant positions in General Administration, group C2, through open competition. The call, signed by Mayor Juan Ramón Amores García on August 25, 2026, also includes the creation of a job bank for future substitutions.

The bases were approved by agreement of the Local Government Board on July 24, 2026, in accordance with Article 97 of Law 7/1985, regulating the Bases of Local Regime, and are published following their insertion in the provincial gazette.

Positions and Job Offer

The three positions, budget-funded and with a destination supplement level of 18, originate from two different public employment offers:

• 1 position from the 2025 OEP (position no. 18 of the Job Position List), assigned to the Municipal Comptroller’s Office.
• 2 positions from the 2026 OEP (positions no. 11 and 84), assigned to Census and Secretariat and to Taxes.

The offers were published in the BOP of Albacete no. 61, dated May 28, 2025, and no. 78, dated July 8, 2026. The process is governed by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015 (Basic Statute of the Public Employee), Law 4/2011 on Public Employment of Castilla-La Mancha, and Royal Decree 896/1991, among other regulations.

Requirements and Submission of Applications

To participate, applicants must meet the following requirements by the end of the application period:

• Hold Spanish nationality or that of a European Union member state, with adequate knowledge of Spanish.
• Be at least 16 years old and not exceed the compulsory retirement age.
• Possess the title of Graduate in Compulsory Secondary Education or equivalent.
• Not have been dismissed from service nor be disqualified from public employment.

Applications shall be submitted exclusively electronically through the City Council’s electronic office (https://laroda.sedipualba.es), within a period of twenty business days starting from the day following the publication of the summary announcement in the Official State Gazette.

Tests and Job Bank

The process will consist of a single exercise with two parts, both of which are mandatory and eliminatory:

• Theoretical part: a questionnaire of 50 questions (plus five reserve questions) with four alternative answers, graded from 0 to 10, with penalties for errors.
• Practical part: several cases related to the specific subject matter of the syllabus, also graded from 0 to 10.

The 50 candidates with the highest scores who achieve at least 5 points will proceed to the correction of the practical part. The final grade will be the arithmetic mean of both parts. The tribunal will also create a job bank with the candidates who, without obtaining a position, pass the exercise, with a validity of three years, extendable for one more.

The call for applications represents a significant opportunity for stable public employment for the region of La Roda, as it offers three open-access career civil servant positions and a job bank that will allow for substitutions based on service needs over the coming years.
