La Rioja distributes 1.9 million in training for the unemployed

The Department of Education and Employment of the Government of La Rioja has resolved the call for grants for training actions from the Training Specialties Catalog of the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) aimed at unemployed workers, with a total granted amount of 1,918,882.65 euros. The decision is detailed in Resolution 66/2026, of August 17, published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 160, of August 21, 2026, in section III of Other provisions and acts.

The call, approved by Resolution 26/2026, of March 13, was processed under a competitive bidding regime for the 2026-2028 period, with an initial budget of 1,920,000 euros. The deadline for submitting applications ended on April 22, 2026, and the provisional resolution proposal was notified on June 25, with the appeals period closing on July 9.

Distribution of aid

The final grant is distributed among for-profit and non-profit entities, with the allocation intended for local corporations remaining unassigned:

  • For-profit entities (application 0805.24121.470.01): 1,322,579.70 euros.
  • Non-profit entities (application 0805.24121.480.00): 596,302.95 euros.
  • Local corporations (application 461.02): 0.00 euros.

By annual installments, the credit is divided into 639,070.20 euros for 2026, 639,224.10 euros for 2027, and 640,588.35 euros for 2028. The operation is financed by state funds distributed by the Sectoral Conference on Employment and Labor Affairs and may be co-financed at 60% by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).

Beneficiary entities

Among the training entities that are beneficiaries are Adesos Rioja, ADR Infor S.L., 1 Coma Dos Miranda S.L., Euroconsultoría Formación Empresa S.L. (EUROMAC), Cross Business Time S.L., Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, Centro de Formación San Millán S.L., and the Association of Industrial Engineers of La Rioja, among others. The approved actions are detailed in annexes II, III, and IV of the resolution for the 2026, 2027, and 2028 fiscal years.

During the processing, appeals from entities such as ADR Infor S.L. and EUROMAC were accepted, and waivers from ATESCO, Fortec Formación y Tecnología S.L., and Centro Educativo Tutor were admitted. The released actions will be assigned to the entities on the reserve list.

Obligations and deadlines

Beneficiary entities will have 10 business days from the notification to register the execution and evaluation planning of the granted actions in the Sigfe-Evafor application. This resolution exhausts administrative remedies; a motion for reconsideration may be filed within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the High Court of Justice of La Rioja within two months.

The resolution, signed by Councilor Alberto Galiana García, is also published in the National Grants Database. With this funding, thousands of unemployed residents of La Rioja will have access to free courses in specialties from the SEPE catalog, in both in-person and tele-training modalities, strengthening employability in the community.
