La Rioja appoints an agricultural engineer as a career civil servant

The Regional Ministry of Finance, Public Governance, Digital Society and Government Spokesperson of La Rioja has appointed Ana Robert Moreno as a career civil servant of the Higher Faculty Body of Special Administration (Agricultural Engineer), through Resolution 1906/2026, dated August 17. The appointment is published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 168, dated September 2, 2026, in section II of Authorities and Personnel, with official reference BOR-A-20260902-II–964.

The resolution, signed by Minister Alfonso Domínguez Simón, concludes a selection process initiated with the call for examinations under the open competition system for the provision of a vacant position in the Higher Faculty Body of Special Administration (Agricultural Engineer), identified as F.05/22 and corresponding to the Public Employment Offer of the year 2022.

A selection process of the 2022 OEP

The call was formalized through Resolution 1274/2025, dated June 4, published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 108, dated June 6, 2025. The Qualifying Tribunal formulated the appointment proposal on May 27, 2026, in accordance with clause 8.2 of the aforementioned call.

Subsequently, the General Directorate of Public Service made public the final list of the successful candidate and the vacancy to be chosen through Resolution 1406/2026, dated June 15, published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 115, dated June 19, 2026. The selected applicant provided the documentation certifying compliance with the required requirements within the deadline.

Destination and position conditions

The awarded position is located within the agricultural technical structure of the Riojan Administration, with a definitive status equivalent for all purposes to that obtained by competition, in accordance with article 1.2 of Decree 78/1991, dated November 28.

Assumption of office and appeals

The assumption of office must take place before the Technical General Secretariat of the corresponding Ministry within one month from the day following the publication of the resolution in the Official Gazette of La Rioja.

The resolution exhausts the administrative route. An optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the Ministry itself within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of La Rioja within two months.

With this appointment, the agricultural technical structure of the Riojan Administration is consolidated, incorporating an agricultural engineer into the Directorate General for Rural Development, a key area for supporting the primary sector and the rural environment of the community. The closure of this 2022 OEP (Public Employment Offer) process reinforces the staff of senior professional personnel in a strategic area for regional agricultural policy.
