La Rioja contributes 459,682 euros to Lardero from the Local Cooperation Fund

The Government of La Rioja will provide 459,682 euros to the Lardero City Council within the Section for municipalities with a population exceeding five thousand inhabitants of the La Rioja Local Cooperation Fund for the year 2026. The agreement establishing this amount, signed on July 23, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja on October 6, 2026, by means of Resolution 1569/2026, dated October 2, from the Technical General Secretariat of the Department of Finance, Public Governance, Digital Society, and Government Spokespersonship.

The agreement falls within the budgetary framework established by articles 32 and 34 of Law 8/2025, of December 29, on the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja for the year 2026, which regulate municipal participation in the Fund. The publication of the summary complies with article 10 of Decree 13/2017, of April 12, which regulates the Electronic Registry of Agreements of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja.

Object and content of the agreement

The purpose of the agreement is to determine the amount of the participation of the municipality of Lardero in the La Rioja Local Cooperation Fund, in its Section for municipalities with a population exceeding five thousand inhabitants, and to establish the destination of the funds and the subsidy regime.

The economic and temporal terms of the agreement are as follows:

• Financial obligation of the Government of La Rioja: 459,682 euros.

The agreement was signed by the President of the Government of La Rioja, Gonzalo Capellán de Miguel, and by the Mayor-President of the Lardero City Council, Isabel Barceló Martínez.

The resolution ordering its publication is dated October 2, 2026, in Logroño and is signed by the Head of the Government Secretariat and Parliamentary Relations Service of the Department of Finance, Public Governance, Digital Society, and Government Spokespersonship, Begoña Sáinz Martínez, by delegation of Resolution 894/2023, of July 20, of the Technical General Secretariat.

A fund with three distribution sections

The La Rioja Local Cooperation Fund distributes its contributions among municipalities according to their size, with differentiated sections and specific articles in the budget law:

• District capitals: regulated by articles 31 and 34 of Law 8/2025.
• Municipalities with a population exceeding five thousand inhabitants: articles 32 and 34, the section corresponding to Lardero.
• Municipalities with a population exceeding two thousand inhabitants: articles 33 and 34.

On the same dates, equivalent agreements have been published with other town councils in the community, such as those of Alberite (102,962 euros), Fuenmayor (119,508 euros), Navarrete (112,742 euros), Quel (84,047 euros), Autol (171,085 euros), Rincón de Soto (142,882 euros), and Ezcaray (82,173 euros), among others, all referring to the 2026 fiscal year.

The impact for Lardero is direct: the contribution of 459,682 euros reinforces the municipal accounts for the current fiscal year and allows for the financing of services and actions carried out since January 1, with the expiration date set for December 31, 2026. Publication in the official bulletin provides validity and publicity to the commitment acquired by both administrations.
