La Rioja assigns destinations to the new Procedural Processing officials

Por FactBox Admin

The General Directorate of Justice and Interior of the Government of La Rioja has assigned posts in judicial offices to the new career civil servants of the Procedural and Administrative Processing Body (open entry). The decision is detailed in Resolution 1121/2026, of July 31, published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 161, of August 24, 2026, and signed by the general director Tania Sáez Martínez. The assignees must take office within twenty business days starting from September 1, 2026.

The resolution is issued under articles 28 and 29 of Royal Decree 1451/2005, of December 7, which approves the Regulations for Entry, Provision of Work Positions, and Professional Promotion of civil servant personnel in the service of the Administration of Justice. The candidates were appointed as career civil servants by Order of July 31, 2026, after passing the selective tests convened by Order JUS/1327/2022, of December 28.

Assigned posts

Annex I of the resolution lists the posts assigned in the autonomous community of La Rioja, all of them in the town of Logroño:

  • María José Jiménez Calavia, assigned to the Common Criminal Service SCT «GU» of Processing.
  • Rafaela Buitrago Rosa, assigned to the General Civil Registry Office.

Deadline and conditions for taking office

The taking of office must be carried out before the head of the assigned judicial office within twenty business days from September 1, for which the managing center will previously send, in quadruplicate, the F1R documents. Those who are already permanent members of the Procedural and Administrative Management or Judicial Assistance bodies and choose to remain active will not need to relocate, provided they communicate their option so that their voluntary leave of absence is declared in accordance with article 506 d) of Organic Law 6/1985, of July 1, of the Judiciary.

Permits and termination of interim staff

Civil servants who wish to avoid a gap in the continuity of their services may request paid leave to take office:

  • One day, if there is no change of location.
  • Two days, in case of a change of location.
  • Up to three days, for those who must travel from the Canaries, Balearics, Ceuta, or Melilla.

Interim civil servants occupying assigned positions will cease their duties on the same day the permanent holder takes office.

Restrictions and appeals

The successful candidates, assigned on a compulsory basis according to their qualification order, may not participate in transfer competitions until two years have elapsed from the date of the order. The positions offered through Resolution 811/2026, of May 21, which have not been awarded, shall remain vacant. An administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) may be filed against the resolution within one month before the Minister of Health and Social Policies of the Government of La Rioja.

The incorporation of these officials strengthens the Riojan judicial offices amidst a full staff renewal, guaranteeing the coverage of Procedural Processing positions in the bodies of Logroño and the continuity of the public service of the Administration of Justice in the community.
