La Rioja opens public comment period for the new Social Services Portfolio

The Department of Health and Social Policies of the Government of La Rioja has opened for public consultation the draft Decree modifying Decree 31/2011, of April 29, which approves the Portfolio of services and benefits of the Riojan Public Social Services System. This is detailed in Resolution 17/2026, of August 24, of the Technical General Secretariat of the Department, published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 163, of August 26, 2026.

The measure opens a hearing period of 15 business days for affected citizens and any person or entity to submit allegations regarding the text, which affects all users of social services in the autonomous community.

A Regulatory Framework from 2011

Decree 31/2011, of April 29, is the regulation that defines the catalog of services and benefits of the Riojan Public Social Services System, and its modification is processed in accordance with the provisions of Article 36 of Law 4/2005, of June 1, on the Operation and Legal Regime of the Administration of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja. The stated objective is to provide a hearing for affected citizens and gather any additional contributions that may be made by other persons or entities.

How to Submit Allegations

Allegations may be submitted in writing or by appearing before the Technical General Secretariat of the Department, where the full text of the draft is available to anyone wishing to formulate them. Additionally, the document will be sent for consultation and electronic submission of allegations through the participation website of the Government of La Rioja.
