La Ribera Alta opens the cost of waste collection for public information

The Mancomunitat de la Ribera Alta has submitted for public review the proposed cost structure for the collection and transport of municipal waste, as well as the economic-financial feasibility study of the service. Both procedures are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia, number 176, dated September 14, 2026, within the municipal associations section.

A management process underway

The two public exhibition announcements are part of a broader file that the association is processing to define the method of providing the urban solid waste collection service. The same gazette also includes the initial approval of the public economic initiative for the provision of the service and the initial approval of the justifying report on the management method.

The set of agreements points to the decision of the supra-municipal entity to assume direct management of the service, for which it is mandatory to certify both the economic viability and the cost structure that will support the provision.

Interested parties may consult the documentation and submit allegations during the public exhibition period. The affected documents are:

• 2026/11235 — initial approval of the justifying report on the management method for the provision of the urban solid waste collection service.
