La Raya amplía hasta 2027 las ayudas a nuevos emprendedores autónomos

The Foundation for Business Anchoring and Employment Training in Castilla y León (FAFECYL) has expanded the aid destined for entrepreneurs within the scope of the “La Raya” Socioeconomic Plan, such that new self-employed workers in the border region may apply for the grant with a longer eligible period and an extended application deadline. This is established by the Resolution of September 11, 2026, from the Presidency of the Anchoring Executive Commission of FAFECYL, published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León number 180, of September 16, 2026 (pages 63 and 64).

The resolution modifies the original call for aid to support entrepreneurs of the “La Raya” Socioeconomic Plan for the year 2025, approved by the Resolution of July 3, 2025, and previously modified by the Resolution of September 4, 2025. The full text can be consulted in the National Grants Database with the identifiers BDNS 843922, 843936, and 843939, which correspond to the same call text.

New Eligible Period

The main novelty affects the first point of the summary, regarding the beneficiaries. Applications from self-employed workers whose registration date in the RETA (Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers) or in the corresponding Professional College Mutual Fund occurred, under the conditions of the regulatory bases, between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2026, both inclusive, will be eligible.

  • Registration in the RETA or in the corresponding Professional College Mutual Fund.
  • Eligible period: from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2026.
  • Scope of action: “La Raya” Socioeconomic Plan.

Extended Submission Deadline

The fifth point of the summary, regarding the submission deadline, is also modified. Applications may be submitted from the day following the publication of the summary in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León until January 15, 2027.

The call can be consulted on the electronic headquarters of the Administration of the Community of Castilla y León (tramitacastillayleon.jcyl.es) using the BDNS identifier, as well as through the links of the National Grants Database.

Signature and Issuing Body

The resolution, framed within the Regional Ministry of Industry, Universities, Employment, and Trade, was signed in Arroyo de la Encomienda (Valladolid) on September 11, 2026, by Carlos Martín Tobalina, president of the Anchoring Executive Commission of FAFECYL. It is published in accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17.

The extension of the eligible period and the application deadline provides a new opportunity for entrepreneurs on the Spanish-Portuguese border to consolidate their projects, by allowing those who have registered as self-employed until the end of 2026 to apply for the aid until mid-January 2027, a key support for the business fabric of La Raya.
