The City Council of La Puebla del Río has approved the guidelines and the call for applications for the 2026 Program for the Prevention of Social Exclusion through Temporary Employment, by means of Mayoral Resolution No. 983/2026, dated September 9, 2026. The initiative, aimed at people at risk of social exclusion in the town, is published in the Official Gazette of the province of Seville number 178, dated Monday, September 14, 2026, with official reference BOP-SE-2026-178012.
The program is part of the 2024-2027 Provincial Plan for Social Cohesion and Equality of the Provincial Council of Seville, through its Area of Social Cohesion and Equality, which grants aid to local entities in the province for the temporary employment hiring of vulnerable groups. In the previous edition, Resolution No. 6005/2025, dated August 29, 2025, allocated an amount of 45,136.29 euros to this local entity for the 2025 program, calculated based on data of unemployed job seekers from the Andalusian Employment Service.
Purpose and Target Audience
The guidelines regulate the purpose, objective, and legal framework of the program, as well as the requirements that the final beneficiaries must meet and the procedure for selection, hiring, and execution conditions. The call is aimed at people in a situation or at risk of social exclusion registered as residents in the municipality, with special attention to the most vulnerable groups.
Requirements and Documentation
Along with the application, interested parties must provide supporting documentation of their situation, which includes:
- Certificate of residency (empadronamiento).
- Large family certificate, if applicable.
- Certificate from the SEPE, payslips, or a Social Security certificate proving the income of the family unit.
- Disability certificate or resolution recognizing a state of dependency.
- Accreditation of being a victim of gender-based violence, if applicable.
- Family book, certification of registration in the Registry of De Facto Unions, or a ratified regulatory agreement.
Only one application may be submitted per family unit, and the income of all members over 16 years of age living within it will be counted.
Selection and Processing
The selection of the beneficiaries will be carried out according to the scoring criteria established in the guidelines, with the intervention of a Technical Commission constituted for this purpose. The procedure includes the submission of applications, a period for correcting documentation, and the subsequent proposal of the final beneficiaries of the program, as well as the corresponding publications.
The call for applications represents a new employment opportunity for groups at risk of exclusion in La Puebla del Río, within the framework of a provincial policy that seeks to strengthen social cohesion through temporary employment. The publication of the guidelines in the official bulletin opens the period for interested individuals to formalize their applications with the City Council.
