La Pobla de Mafumet allocates 643,350 euros in grants for students

The City Council of la Pobla de Mafumet has announced individual grants for students of the municipality for the 2026 fiscal year, with a total allocation of €643,350.00 charged to its own resources. The call is published as an extract in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona on September 1, 2026, with reference CVE 2026-08116 (pp. 1-2), and the full text can be consulted in the National Grants Database with identifier BDNS 925733.

The announcement, signed by the municipal secretary Jaume Renyer Alimbau on August 20, 2026, is processed as file EXP. 1730/2026 and is framed within Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies (articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a). The objective is to promote the education of students in the municipality across different educational stages.

Beneficiaries and object

Students registered in the municipality before September 1 of the calendar year preceding the call, who are pursuing studies both in centers within the municipality and outside the town, may apply for the grant under the terms set out in the regulatory bases. The allocation is charged to budget item 326/4810001 “Individual grants for students of the municipality of la Pobla de Mafumet” of the current budget.

The regulatory bases for the granting of these grants were published in full in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona with insertion number 2025-05556, dated June 20, 2025.

Submission deadlines

The submission deadlines for applications differ according to the type of grant:

• Individual grants (sections 1 and 2 of the Fourth Base): from September 7, 2026, to November 11, 2026, both inclusive.
• Awards (section 3 of the Fourth Base): from September 7, 2026, to October 30, 2026, both inclusive.

In both cases, if the publication of the extract in the BOP of Tarragona were to occur after September 7, the deadline would begin the day after publication.

Evaluation and notifications

Grant applications will be evaluated in accordance with the criteria established in the Fifth Base of the regulatory bases. The notification of resolutions to the interested parties will be made through announcements published on the electronic notice board of the municipal website (http://poblamafumet.eadministracio.cat/board/).

The call represents a significant economic injection for families with students in la Pobla de Mafumet, who have just over two months to submit their applications. With an allocation of more than 643,000 euros, the council reinforces its support for the education of the municipality’s youth, both in local centers and in studies outside the town.
