The certificate protects delgocitinib, a spiro-ring compound with medicinal use, whose first marketing authorization in the European Union (EU/1/24/1851) dates from 09/19/2024. The certificate’s expiration date is 07/30/2035.

Relevance for the industry

The granting of these industrial property titles reinforces the protection of innovations in strategic sectors such as renewable energies, fire safety, and the pharmaceutical industry. The Valencian solar tracker and the Madrid-based hose expand the catalog of national technical solutions, while the certificate from Japan Tobacco ensures the exclusivity of delgocitinib in the Spanish market until 2035, a drug of interest for the treatment of dermatological diseases.
