La Masó announces the first exercise for the administrative position

The La Masó City Council has approved the provisional list of persons admitted and excluded from the selection process to fill one position for Administrative Assistant, career civil servant, and has scheduled the first exercise for October 6, 2026. The decision is recorded in the Mayoral Decree no. 2026-0000105, of August 19, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona on August 25 (reference CVE 2026-08016, pp. 1-4).

The position, assigned to workstation 01.01.01, corresponds to group C, subgroup C1, and is filled through the competitive examination (concurs-oposición) system in the open call, within the council’s public employment offer. The process began with the approval of the rules and the call for applications via Mayoral Resolution no. 2026-0000051, of May 7, published in the BOP of Tarragona with reference CVE 2026-04223 on May 12.

Provisional list and amendment deadlines

The deadline for submitting applications ended on July 9, 2026, with a total of 12 applications received. Of these, 11 people have been admitted and 1 has been excluded.

• Admitted: Núria Bertran Cantenys, Maria Domingo Martínez, Maria Isabel Hortoneda Llanos, Cristina Llobet Lladó, Alba Mayor Cases, Cristina Olmo Mora, Carolina Pérez Arcos, Roberto Requena Paya, Núria Roig Figueras, Irene Serra Romeu, and Lourdes Vergés Martínez.
• Excluded: Maria Teresa Daganzo Melo, for failing to prove the required qualification and submitting an illegible ID.

Excluded and omitted persons have 10 business days starting from the day after publication to file claims and amendments. If none are submitted, the provisional list will become final without the need for a new resolution.

Qualifying tribunal

The decree also appoints the members of the qualifying tribunal, in accordance with the composition established in the rules:

• Permanent President: Marta Maymús Colomar, civil servant of the Provincial Council of Tarragona.
• Substitute President: Isabel Toribio Cazorla, civil servant of the Provincial Council of Tarragona.
• Permanent Member 1: Vanessa Cordon Porro, civil servant of the Provincial Council of Tarragona (who will also act as secretary).
• Substitute Member 1: Francisco Javier Andujar Corcoles, civil servant of the Provincial Council of Tarragona.
• Permanent Member 2: Cèlia Rovira Recasens, representing the EAPC.
• Substitute Member 2: Lydia Oliva Sordé, representing the EAPC.

Members may recuse themselves and applicants may challenge them if any of the reasons provided in articles 23 and 24 of Law 40/2015, of October 1, on the legal regime of the public sector, apply.

First exercise and order of action

The tribunal shall be constituted at La Masó on October 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., the date on which the admitted persons are summoned to carry out the first exercise. On the same day, the date, time, and location of the second exercise will be announced via public display on the City Council’s electronic office.

The order of appearance is determined according to the draw carried out by the Diputació de Tarragona, published in the BOPT on February 27, 2023 (insertion 2023-1486), which establishes that the order begins with persons whose first surname starts with the letter “V”.

Against the resolution, as it is a procedural act, no administrative appeals are permitted; once it becomes final, a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the Tribunal d’Instància de Tarragona within a period of two months, or a motion for reconsideration before the same body within a period of one month.

This call, signed by Mayor Albert Camps Banus, reinforces the civil servant staff of one of the smallest municipalities in the Tarragonès region and opens an opportunity for access to local public employment for the 11 admitted applicants, in a process that will be resolved starting in October.
