The Alto Henares Association proposes Laura Megía as architect

The “Valle del Alto Henares” Association of Municipalities has published the list of successful candidates from the selection process to fill the architect position, vacant in its staff, and proposes the appointment of Laura Megía del Vado as the first-ranked candidate. The announcement is disseminated through Presidency Resolution No. 0029/2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 162, dated August 25, 2026.

The position is filled through the selection procedure for civil service personnel by competitive examination, under a permanent appointment regime. The resolution, signed in Cogolludo on August 20, 2026, by the president, Mr. Juan Alfonso Fraguas Tabernero, concludes the administrative process and brings the selection process to an end.

List of successful candidates

The Association publishes the list of successful applicants in order of score, as follows:

• Laura Megía del Vado, with 42.80 points.
• Gonzalo de Lucas Moratilla, with 40.04 points.
• Ana Loriguillo Solís, with 34.58 points.

Based on this list, the appointment is proposed in favor of Laura Megía del Vado, the applicant with the highest score, to occupy the position of architect for the entity.

Deadline to prove requirements

The proposed person must provide the Association, within twenty business days from the publication of the announcement, the supporting documents of the capacity conditions and the requirements demanded in the call for applications.

It is warned that those who, within that period and except in cases of force majeure, do not provide the documentation, or if it is deduced from said documentation that they lack any of the required requirements, cannot be appointed, and all their actions shall be annulled, without prejudice to the liability they may have incurred for falsehood in their applications for participation.

Appeals against the resolution

Against the resolution, which concludes the administrative process, the following may be filed alternatively:

• Optional appeal for reversal before the Mayor’s Office, within one month from the day following publication, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure.
• Contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Section of the Court of First Instance of Guadalajara, or the one corresponding to their domicile, within two months, in accordance with article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, of the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction.

If the appeal for reversal is chosen, the contentious-administrative appeal cannot be filed until the former is expressly resolved or is dismissed by silence.

Filling the architect position is essential for the operation of the Mancomunidad de Municipios Valle del Alto Henares, which provides urban and technical services to the member municipalities of the region. With the appointment of Laura Megía del Vado, the entity ensures the continuity of technical assistance in urban planning, a service of particular relevance for small municipalities that lack their own technical staff.
