La Línea approves the employment pool for Communication Support Network Manager

The City Council of La Línea de la Concepción has approved the job bank for the temporary hiring, as an interim civil servant, for the position of Communication Support Network Manager, classified under Group C, Subgroup C1. The decision was adopted via Decree No. 3668/2026 (LIPER-003958-2026), issued on August 26, 2026, by the first deputy mayor, delegate of the Public Services and Infrastructure Area, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz number 168, dated September 1, 2026.

The job bank is established following the completion of the selection process via the competitive examination (concurso-oposición) system, the rules of which were approved by Mayoral Resolution No. LIPER-00238-2026, dated April 30, 2026. The Qualifying Board, in the minutes of August 18, 2026, finalized the proposed list of candidates who passed the competitive examination phase, including the total score obtained, as established in the ninth rule of the call.

The eight candidates of the job bank

The final list consists of eight candidates, ordered according to the total score achieved in the selection process:

• Raquel Jiménez Serrano — 77.20 points
• María Jesús Martínez Borrallo — 73.96 points
• Ana Díaz Cabello — 68.67 points
• Cyntia López Ortiz — 67.23 points
• Francisco José Barbero Vega — 64.98 points
• Ricardo de la Concepción Leal — 63.50 points
• Irene Mateo Vázquez — 52.80 points

Validity and calling regime

The job bank will have an initial validity of five years from the date of the resolution, unless a new job bank is established beforehand as a result of a new process for the selection of career civil servants, in accordance with Article 3 of the Regulations for the Creation and Operation of the Job Bank for Interim Civil Servants of the City Council, published in the BOP of Cádiz No. 32, dated February 18, 2021.

The call for the interim occupation of the position will be carried out according to the order established in the job bank and provided that the legal circumstances for its coverage by interim civil servants are met, by virtue of Article 6 of the aforementioned regulations. The resolution is issued using the powers conferred by Article 21.1.h) of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of Local Government, and the Plenary will be informed in the next ordinary session, in compliance with Article 42 of RD 2568/1986, of November 28.

Publication and signature

The resolution is published in the BOP of Cádiz and on the notice board of the municipal website (www.lalinea.es). The announcement appears signed by the acting mayor, by virtue of Decree No. 3281/2026, of August 4, 2026, with the signature of Juan Domingo Macías Pérez, and dated in La Línea de la Concepción on August 27, 2026.

The approval of this pool offers a stable route of access to municipal public employment in the field of institutional communication, allowing the City Council to cover the temporary needs of the Communication Support Network Manager position in an agile and orderly manner over the next five years. For the eight selected candidates, and for those following the process, it represents a concrete opportunity to join the local administration of La Línea de la Concepción.
