Por FactBox Admin

The Regional Government of Castilla y León has arranged for the registration and publication of the collective agreement of the company Barceló Arrendamientos Península, S.L., which establishes the labor conditions for the staff of the Barceló León Conde Luna and Occidental Alfonso V hotels. The resolution is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of León number 162, dated August 26, 2026, with the official reference BOP-LE-2026-162018.
The announcement falls under the Regional Administration, within the Regional Government of Castilla y León, and is processed through the Registry and Deposit of Collective Agreements, Collective Labor Agreements, and Equality Plans operating through electronic means of Castilla y León (REGCON). The full text of the agreement spans 25 pages of the gazette, from page 39 to 63.
Registration in REGCON
The resolution orders two complementary actions: the registration of the agreement in the regional registry and its official publication. REGCON is the autonomous community’s instrument that provides publicity and legal certainty to the collective agreements, labor agreements, and equality plans deposited by companies and social agents.
- Issuing body: Regional Government of Castilla y León (General Administration of the Community, Departments, and Territorial Delegations).
- Registry: REGCON of Castilla y León.
- Gazette: BOP of León, number 162, dated August 26, 2026.
- Official reference: BOP-LE-2026-162018.
Scope of Application: Two Hotels in León
The agreement affects the staff of two hotel establishments in the Leonese capital managed by the same company:
- Hotel Barceló León Conde Luna.
- Hotel Occidental Alfonso V.
Both centers are integrated into a single company collective agreement, which unifies the labor conditions of their workers under the same regulatory framework.
Content and Scope of the Agreement
The deposited text contains the working conditions agreed upon between the company and the workers’ representation, and its publication in the official gazette grants it regulatory effectiveness and public character. As it is a company agreement, its content applies specifically to the affected centers, without prejudice to the provisions of higher-ranking labor regulations.
The registration and publication ensure that the agreed conditions are enforceable and known by all workers of the two hotels, as well as by third parties who may be affected.
Relevance for Readers
The publication of the collective agreement for Barceló Arrendamientos Península, S.L. represents a significant step toward legal certainty for the staff of two of the main hotel establishments in León. With its registration in the REGCON and its dissemination in the official bulletin, the workers of the Barceló León Conde Luna and Occidental Alfonso V hotels now have a stable, public, and enforceable labor framework in the tourism sector, which holds great economic weight in the province.
