The Board appoints career official in Environmental Sciences

The General Directorate of the Civil Service of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha has appointed career civil service personnel and has assigned a permanent destination in the Superior Body, Environmental Sciences Specialty to the person who passed the selection process. The decision is formalized through the Resolution of 09/16/2026, published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha (DOCM) no. 181, of September 21, 2026, with reference 2026/6749. The appointment requires taking possession of the position within one month.

The selection process and its background

The selection process was announced via Resolution of the General Directorate of the Civil Service on December 5, 2024 (DOCM no. 244, of 12-18-2024), for entry through the general access system for persons with disabilities and through the general open access system in the Superior Body, Environmental Sciences Specialty.

Upon completion of the process, a destination was offered to the successful candidate via Resolution of September 8, 2026 (DOCM no. 177, of 09-15-2026). Following the submission of the destination request and the required documentation, and in accordance with the eleventh clause of the call, the appointment as career civil service personnel and the assignment of the permanent destination proceed.

The resolution is signed by the Director General of the Civil Service, José Narváez Vila, by delegation of the Minister of Finance, Public Administrations and Digital Transformation (Resolution of 09/15/2015, DOCM no. 183 of 09/17/2015).

Assigned destination

Annex I of the resolution details the assignment corresponding to the general open access system:

Assigned person: Sara Gómez Rodilla (DNI *6221, N.R.P. *622100A2280).
Position: code 15302, designation Senior Technician.
Level: 22, with a specific supplement of 10,520.76 euros.
Working day: ordinary (JO).
Location and workplace: Toledo, Central Services.
Destination unit: General Directorate of Environmental Quality, Ministry of Sustainable Development.

Deadlines and appeals

The appointed person must take possession of the assigned position within one month starting from the day following the publication of the resolution in the DOCM. The period is suspended when joining is not possible due to illness or force majeure, upon request by the interested party within the possession period and with accreditation of the alleged circumstance; in that case, the count resumes from the date the impediment disappears. The taking of possession will take place at the Personnel Department of the body or organization to which the position is assigned.

For the taking of office, the declaration provided for in Article 13 of Royal Decree 598/1985, of April 30, must be made or, where applicable, the request for compatibility under Article 10 of Law 53/1984, of December 26, on Incompatibilities of Personnel in the Service of Public Administrations.

Against the resolution, which exhausts the administrative route, the following may be filed:

Contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Castilla-La Mancha, within a period of two months.
Optional appeal for reversal before the General Directorate of the Civil Service, within a period of one month.

Impact on staff and candidates

The appointment closes the selection process for Environmental Sciences and provides definitive coverage for a senior technician position in the General Directorate of Environmental Quality, attached to the Ministry of Sustainable Development. For the candidates of this specialty, the resolution also establishes the criteria for deadlines and procedures for taking office that will apply to subsequent awards of the same call.
