The Junta appoints 35 officials of the Auxiliary Corps by internal promotion.

The Department of the Presidency of the Regional Government of Castile and León has appointed as career civil servants of the Auxiliary Corps of the Administration of the Community of Castile and León the 35 applicants who passed the selection process for access by internal promotion. The appointment is published in Official Gazette of Castile and León number 158, of 17 August 2026, by means of Order PRE/771/2026, of 8 August, which assigns each new civil servant a post on a definitive basis.

The selection process was called by Resolution of 19 November 2024 of the Deputy Ministry of Public Administrations and Citizen Service (call SEFP21A23_2207-C, published on 26 November 2024). The list of applicants who passed the tests was approved by Resolution of 22 June 2026, published in the BOCYL of 25 June, and, once the required requirements have been documented, the Department of the Presidency now proceeds to the appointment in accordance with the eleventh basis of the call and article 7.2.l) of Law 7/2005, of 24 May, on the Civil Service of Castile and León. The order is signed by the Minister of the Presidency, Luis Miguel González Gago.

One month to take office

Those appointed have a period of one month, counted from the day following the publication of the order, to take office before the Secretary General or the corresponding Territorial Delegate. At the act of taking office they must:

• Submit the declaration of compatibility provided for in article 31.3 of Decree 227/1997, of 20 November, approving the Regulations on Incompatibilities of Staff Serving the Administration of the Community.
• Take an oath or promise to uphold the Constitution, the Statute of Autonomy of Castile and León and the laws, in accordance with article 36.1(c) of Law 7/2005 and Royal Decree 707/1979, of 5 April.

Posts throughout the Community

The 35 new civil servants, classified in group C2 with level 15, join auxiliary posts in departments, territorial services and management offices spread across the nine provinces:

• Valladolid: Library of Castilla y León, School of Public Administration, Provincial Directorate of Education, General Intervention and Personnel and Internal Affairs Service.
• Ávila, Zamora, Burgos and Soria: territorial services of Agriculture, Health, Industry, Mobility, Environment and Education.
• León and Segovia: offices of the Regional Health Management and the Social Services Management, including the Residence for the Elderly in Segovia.
• Salamanca and Ciudad Rodrigo: territorial health services and educational centers such as IES Tierra de Ciudad Rodrigo and IES Venancio Blanco.
• Miranda de Ebro and Arroyo: Territorial Unit of Miranda de Ebro, CFIE Miranda de Ebro and the Public Employment Service.

Profile of the appointees

Of the 35 candidates, five come from the disability quota (TURNOD) and the rest from the general quota (TURNOP). The new career civil servants include:

• María Ángela Río Velasco, Baltasar Ferrero Otero, Mª del Pilar Pérez Muñoz and Ana Belén Cuervo Ramos.
• Laura Ramos Lucas, Encarnación García Santiago, María Purificación Puebla Argandoña and Marta Isabel Rodrigo Martín.
• Alicia García Rincón, Agustina Martín Mora, Rosana Vallejo Rasero and Asier Esteban Egurrola.
• Jorge Barbero Pérez, Luis Miguel del Río Cesteros and Luis Ángel Moro Vega.

The order, which exhausts the administrative route, may be appealed by motion for reconsideration before the Department of the Presidency within one month or through a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Valladolid within two months.

With this publication, the regional administration consolidates the careers of public employees who were already serving in the Community and reinforces the auxiliary staff rosters in all provinces, with attention to the reservation of places for people with disabilities. For those who follow regional public employment, the order represents a further step in the renewal and stabilization of the general corps of the Junta de Castilla y León.
