La Junta Electoral de Utrera publica los espacios de campaña electoral

The Zonal Electoral Board of Utrera has made public the list of available sites for the free placement of posters, banners, and streamers, as well as the official premises and public places reserved for the free holding of electoral campaign events for the General Elections on November 29. The announcement, signed by the secretary María Izquierdo Sanisidro, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville number 201, dated October 16, 2026, with reference BOP-SE-2026-201034.

The publication is carried out in compliance with articles 56 and 57 of Organic Law 5/1985 of the General Electoral Regime (LOREG) and responds to the call for general elections made by Royal Decree 806/2026, of October 5 (BOE number 248, of October 6, 2026), with the voting date set for November 29.

The jurisdiction of the Zonal Electoral Board of Utrera covers eight municipalities in the province of Seville: Dos Hermanas, Las Cabezas de San Juan, El Cuervo de Sevilla, Lebrija, Los Molares, Los Palacios y Villafranca, El Palmar de Troya, and Utrera. The eleven-page document details the enabled supports and conditions of use for each.

Lamp posts, fences, and roundabouts for propaganda

The authorized supports vary by municipality and are divided between posters, streamers, and banners:

  • Dos Hermanas: posters in the urban center of Montequinto (Avda. Portimao, next to IES María Galiana, 3x3 meters) and in Fuente del Rey (enclosures on the Carretera de la Isla, 150x3 meters); streamers in the main center, Montequinto, and Fuente del Rey.
  • El Cuervo de Sevilla: 37 lamp posts on Avda. José Antonio Gallego, 45 on Avda. de Lebrija, 40 in the Rodalabota Industrial Estate, 29 on Avda. de Jerez, and 26 on Avda. de Cádiz, among others, in addition to fences.
  • Lebrija: fences at CEIP Blas Infante, IES El Fontanal, IES Virgen del Castillo, the Health Center, and several schools, and posts for streamers on about twenty roads.
  • Los Palacios y Villafranca: ten roundabouts with fences (El Palenque, La Unión, Los Lagares, Olivo Centenario, Villafranca, Rerre de los Palacios, Los Romeros, La Era, Municipal Stadium, and Cristo de la Misericordia) and lamp posts distributed across avenues such as Miguel Ángel (58), Maribañez (42), or Utrera (39).
  • Utrera: eight billboards and lamp posts on Avda. Alcalde José Dorado Alé and others (169), Avda. de Portugal (50), Avda. La Fontanilla and Avda. Los Palacios (40), c/ Silos (18), c/ Escultor Antonio Susillo (25 and 33), c/ Veracruz (12), c/ Molares (24), and c/ La Corredera (36).
  • Los Molares: the municipality’s lamp posts, with hanging supports.
  • El Palmar de Troya: streamers on lamp posts 1 to 10 of the Avenida de Utrera and banners and posters in several streets.

Premises and squares for campaign events

Each city council reserves public facilities and spaces for free use, with specific capacities and schedules:

  • Dos Hermanas: five school groups (San Fernando, 85 people; Valme Coronada, 110; Las Portadas, 77; Enrique Díaz Ferreras, 100; Rafael Alberti, 100), from 20:00 to 22:00 hours on working days from Monday to Friday.

Deadlines, prohibitions, and removal of propaganda

The announcement imposes strict conditions on the parties. Banners and streamers occupying public roads with vehicle traffic must be placed at a height of more than 4.5 meters, and their removal and cleaning will be the responsibility of the political organization, which will be liable for any incident involving urban furniture. Removal must be completed in the week following the elections.

It is strictly forbidden to attach electoral advertising to trees, signage posts, or any other element of urban furniture not included in the list. In Utrera, it is further reminded that Article 93 of the LOREG prohibits propaganda in section premises and in the vicinity of polling stations: all propaganda that fails to comply with this provision must be removed before 00:00 on November 29; otherwise, municipal workers will remove it first thing that day, and it will be held in municipal storage, available for pickup from 8:00 hours on November 30 at the Municipal Warehouses.

The announcement closes the calendar of material preparations for the campaign in the area and obliges parties and residents to adjust to fixed spaces, with closed schedules and capacities, to avoid conflicts over the use of urban furniture and public premises during the two weeks prior to the polls.
