The Huesca Electoral Board publishes campaign premises and spaces
Por FactBox Admin

The Zonal Electoral Board of Huesca has made public the list of municipal premises reserved for the free holding of electoral campaign events and the locations enabled for placing posters and banners for the 2026 general elections. The announcement appears signed in Huesca on October 19, 2026, by the secretary of the Electoral Board, María Aranzazu Catalán Hernando. It is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca, number 207, corresponding to Wednesday, October 28, 2026, with the official reference BOPH-2026-207024.
The publication is supported by the provisions of articles 56 and 57.1 of the Organic Law of the General Electoral Regime (LOREG), which requires city councils to designate official premises and public places for free use for electoral propaganda and the Zonal Board to publicize them. The result is an eleven-page annex, occupying pages 110 to 120 of the gazette, which organizes two columns of data by municipality: the premises available for campaign events and the location reserved for posters, banners, and streamers.
The other two zonal boards in the province have fulfilled the same obligation. The Zonal Electoral Board of Barbastro published its list in number 200, dated October 19, 2026, and the Zonal Electoral Board of Jaca did the same on the same date, with the locations agreed upon by the Board on October 16, 2026.
Sixty municipalities, each with its own premises
The annex from the Huesca Board covers 60 municipal districts, from the capital to towns with fewer than a hundred inhabitants, and includes the aggregated nuclei that depend on them. Some examples of the established conditions:

Posters and banners: square meters and lampposts
Propaganda spaces are assigned with surface areas measured in the capital and in the regional centers:
- Plaza de Navarra: 6 sheets, 28.5 square meters.
- Plaza de Santa Clara: 4 boards, 28 square meters.
- Calle Gibraltar, opposite Ibercaja: 4 boards, 28 square meters.
- Ronda Montearagón, facade of the Provincial Archive: 2 boards, 14 square meters.

- Banners in Huesca: 47 lampposts on Avenida Martínez de Velasco, 25 on Avenida de Ramón y Cajal, 38 on Avenida de los Danzantes, 34 on Avenida Doctor Artero, and 19 on Ronda Magistrado “Cecilio Serena”.
In Grañén, one facade of 64 square meters, one fence of 100 square meters, and one wall of 20 square meters are reserved; in Sariñena, 36 lampposts are enabled on Avenida de Fraga, 48 on Avenida de Huesca, 13 on Avenida de Zaragoza, and 12 on Avenida de Monegros.
Restrictions and prior reservations
Several town halls impose additional conditions. Peralta de Alcofea, El Tormillo, Lagunarrota, and Sangarrén do not authorize the placement of posters on containers or bus shelters. Lalueza, Marcén, and San Lorenzo del Flumen accept reservations until November 27, 24 hours a day, while Antillón requires prior notification of the date of the event. In Lanaja, Cantalobos, and Orillena, the premises are available every day from the opening of the campaign period starting at 4:00 p.m.
The publication thus offers parties, candidates, and residents a complete map of the free electoral infrastructure in the Huesca district, with the warning that the use of each space requires prior coordination with the corresponding city council and that the campaign is concentrated in the second fortnight of November 2026.
