The Electoral Board of Almendralejo rectifies the electoral campaign venues

The Zonal Electoral Board of Almendralejo has rectified the record of official premises and public places for free use for the general election campaign of November 29, 2026, and has added a space that had been left out: the assembly hall of the Vivero de Emprendedores Europeos residence. The correction is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz number 205, dated October 26, 2026, in Announcement 4230/2026, within the Elections section.

A material error detected five days later

The rectification record is dated Almendralejo, October 22, 2026, and is signed by the president of the Zonal Electoral Board, Soledad de la Peña González, and the secretary, Juan Matamoros González. The text acknowledges that in the record of spaces and public places published on October 21, 2026, an “unintentional material error” occurred, resulting in the omission of an official premise in the town of Almendralejo.

The original announcement, 4149/2026, appeared in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz number 202, on Wednesday, October 21, and contained the complete list of spaces for posters, banners, and campaign events submitted by the city councils within the territorial scope of this Zonal Electoral Board. The rectification is limited to incorporating the omitted premise and does not alter the rest of the list.

The added space and its availability

The incorporated premise is as follows:

• Assembly hall of the Vivero de Emprendedores Europeos residence, in Almendralejo.
• Reserved days: November 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27.
• Hours: from 10:00 to 00:00.

The availability covers thirteen days within the date range handled by the record, from November 13 to 27, and excludes Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd. The schedule is broader than that of other enclosed spaces in the town, which usually close at 21:30 or 22:00, and extends until midnight.

The rest of the network of premises in Almendralejo

With this addition, the list of enclosed and open spaces for free use in Almendralejo consists of:

• Civic Center: hall number 1 (November 14 to 27) and hall number 2 (November 13 to 25), from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 22:00.
• Palacio del Vino: assembly hall, pavilions A and B, and cafeteria, with partial calendars between November 13 and 27.
• Bullring: every day from November 13 to 27, from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 21:30.
• Fairground booth: from November 13 to 18, from 09:00 to 00:00.
• Plaza del Mercado coworking space: November 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 27, from 10:00 to 00:00.
• Avenida de la Paz, Parque Dulce Chacón, and Parque Espolón: available without limitation.

For the placement of posters and banners, the original act established eleven points in Almendralejo, including Alfonso X Street, Aceuchal Street, Viñas Street, Ortega y Muñoz Street next to the Palacio del Vino, Extremadura Square, and Dulce Chacón Park, in addition to banners on the Badajoz road, Miguel Hernández Street, and the avenues of Rafael Alberti, Juan Carlos Rodríguez Ibarra, Sevilla, and de Europa.

A territorial scope of fifteen municipalities

The Zonal Electoral Board of Almendralejo groups fifteen municipalities: Aceuchal, Almendralejo, Corte de Peleas, Entrín Bajo, Hinojosa del Valle, Hornachos, Nogales, Palomas, Puebla de la Reina, Puebla del Prior, Ribera del Fresno, Santa Marta de los Barros, Solana de los Barros, Villafranca de los Barros, and Villalba de los Barros. The original act lists for each one the poster spaces and the venues for events, with schedules that in most cases start from 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM.

The electoral propaganda calendar set the publication of these lists in the official provincial bulletins between October 7 and 21, as stated in the resolution of the Provincial Council of Badajoz, which enabled the supplement of bulletin number 202. The rectification for Almendralejo is therefore published outside that period and in a subsequent ordinary bulletin.

The correction has immediate effect for the candidacies running in the province of Badajoz: the assembly hall of the European Entrepreneurs’ Nursery becomes an official and free space available for campaign events, meaning that parties and candidacies organizing rallies or appearances in Almendralejo between November 13 and 27 may request its use under the same conditions as the other venues reserved by the city council.
