The Regional Government announces eleven communication scholarships for 2027

The Ministry of the Presidency of the Junta de Castilla y León has announced eleven communication grants for the year 2027, each endowed with €1,000 per month, awarded through a competitive process. The call is published via the extract of the Order of September 1, 2026, in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León number 175, dated September 9, 2026, with official reference BOCYL-D-09092026-175-3.

The order, signed by the head of the Ministry, Luis Miguel González Gago, is framed within the regulatory bases approved by Order PRE/757/2026, of July 29, and is registered in the National Grants Database with the identifier BDNS 927241. Territorial distribution of positions

The eleven grants are distributed across the nine provinces of the community, with a higher concentration in the regional capital:

• Ávila: 1 grant
• Burgos: 1 grant
• León: 1 grant
• Palencia: 1 grant
• Salamanca: 1 grant
• Segovia: 1 grant
• Soria: 1 grant
• Valladolid: 3 grants
• Zamora: 1 grant

Amount and conditions

Each grant has a monthly financial endowment of €1,000 per month or a proportional part, as established in the call. The grants may be requested by individuals who meet the requirements set out in Article 3 of the regulatory bases, aimed at young journalists and communicators from the community.

Application deadline

The deadline for submitting applications will be fifteen business days starting from the day following the publication of the extract in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León, that is, from September 10, 2026. Applications will be processed through the electronic headquarters of the Administration of the Community of Castilla y León, using the BDNS identifier.

The call represents a direct opportunity for young communication professionals in Castilla y León, who will be able to develop their training in the nine provinces with a guaranteed monthly remuneration. The commitment to distribute the positions throughout the territory reinforces access to communication training outside of large urban centers, with Valladolid as the primary destination, concentrating three of the eleven grants.
