The Regional Government authorizes the Pedroche high-voltage sectioning center

The Territorial Delegation of Córdoba of the Regional Government of Andalusia (Junta de Andalucía) has granted prior administrative authorization and administrative construction authorization to Inpecuarias Pozoblanco SL for the medium voltage sectioning center and the underground service connections planned in the municipality of Pedroche. The resolution, signed in Córdoba on October 2, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba on October 23, 2026 (reference BOP-A-2026-3428), concludes the processing of file AT 39/26.

The competent body to issue the resolution is the Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and European Funds and the Ministry of University, Industry, Energy and Innovation, in accordance with articles 49 and 58.2.3º of the Statute of Autonomy for Andalusia and the delegation of powers of the General Directorate of Energy of March 11, 2022. The processing has complied with Title VII, Chapter II of Royal Decree 1955/2000, of December 1, which regulates the authorization procedures for electrical energy installations, as well as Decree 9/2011, of January 18, and Decree-law 26/2021, of December 14, on administrative simplification.

A file initiated in June with a consolidated project

The company, with registered office at calle Cronista Sepúlveda, 18, in Pozoblanco (Córdoba), requested the double authorization on June 26, 2026, for the installations detailed in the project titled «Consolidated project for the segregation and administrative regularization of the existing medium voltage sectioning center AT 47/24 “CS Pedroche” and the MV underground service connections “Línea Hnos Castro Rodríguez” and “Línea Pozoblanco AT 30/80”».

According to the background of the resolution, on November 15, 2026, the company submitted a new request justifying the modifications introduced to the initial design of the installation. The Energy Department of the Delegation issued a favorable report on the modification project, signed by a competent technician and endorsed by the corresponding professional association.

Technical characteristics of the installation

The authorized project comprises two elements, both located in Polygon 11, plot 138, of the municipality of Pedroche:

• Power line: 15 kV voltage, underground type, originating from the line cell of the sectioning center and ending at the overhead-underground conversion at pole No. 1 of the Hnos. Castro Rodríguez line.
• Length: 15 meters of routing.
• Conductors: RH5Z1 3 (1x150) 12/20 kV.
• Sectioning center: indoor type in a prefabricated surface kiosk, with a voltage of 15 kV.
• Switchgear: five line cells, one sectioning cell, and one automatic protection cell, with gas insulation and switching.

Conditions, deadlines, and appeal process

The authorization requires the works to be executed in accordance with the submitted project and annex, with any variations that may be requested and authorized as applicable, and is granted without prejudice to other public and private concessions, licenses, and permits necessary to execute the installation, especially those relating to land use, urban planning, environment, and public services.

• Commissioning deadline: 24 months from the date of the resolution.
• Operating authorization: the holder must communicate the completion of the works and provide the final project management certificate and the installer company’s certificate.
• Non-compliance: the Administration will nullify the resolution if non-compliance with the imposed conditions is observed, following a formal procedure and the annulment of the authorization.
• Appeal: administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) before the head of the Ministry of University, Industry, Energy, and Innovation within one month from the day following publication or notification.

The resolution is signed by the head of the Energy Service, José María Pérez Gil, and by the territorial delegate, Agustín López Ortiz, and contains the secure verification code 178A FBCD EFD8 6559 3CF5.

Impact on Los Pedroches

The administrative regularization of the sectioning center and the medium-voltage connections clears the legal status of an existing electrical infrastructure in the Los Pedroches region, a necessary step for its formal operation and for future supply expansions in the area. The same company also maintains another open procedure in the BOP of Córdoba dated August 14, 2026, regarding the occupation of the livestock routes “Cordel de Villanueva” and “Colada de El Guijo a Villanueva de Córdoba” in Pozoblanco and Pedroche (file VP/1658/2025), confirming its investment activity in the environment.
