The Regional Government pays 341,922 euros in beekeeping grants for biodiversity

The Vice-Ministry of the Common Agricultural Policy and Agro-Environmental Policy of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha has resolved the annual application for the 2025 campaign for aid under line 9070089-beekeeping for biodiversity, with 341,922.00 euros already paid to 104 beneficiaries. The resolution, dated September 21, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha (DOCM) no. 186, of September 28, 2026, with reference 2026/6877.

Regulatory Framework and Call for Applications

The aid is granted under Order 59/2023, of March 21, of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Rural Development, which establishes the regulatory bases for the Beekeeping for Biodiversity intervention in Castilla-La Mancha through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), within the Common Agricultural Policy Strategic Plan 2023-2027.

The call for the 2025 campaign was approved by the Resolution of 05/27/2025, of the Directorate General for Agro-Environmental Policies. The DOCM now publishes only the resolutions for amounts already paid without reduction relative to what was requested by the holder, in accordance with Article 16 of Order 59/2023, which refers to the regulatory order for the single application for CAP aid in the region.

Financing and Appeal Process

The aid is co-financed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Rural Development (14%), the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment (6%), and the European Union through the EAFRD (80%), charged to the budget application 21060000 G/718A/4734F.

Against the resolution, which does not exhaust administrative remedies, an administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) may be filed before the head of the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development within one month from the day following its notification, in accordance with articles 121 and 122 of Law 39/2015. The filing must be carried out by electronic means through the Junta’s electronic office.

The publication allows the beekeeping sector of Castilla-La Mancha to know the actual status of their payments for the 2025 campaign and confirm which holdings have already received the full amount requested, without reductions, with majority European funding.
