The Trade Fair Institution of Castilla y León approves its extinction and transfer

The Plenary of the Consortium of the Trade Fair Institution of Castilla y León unanimously approved, on September 17, 2026, the definitive agreement for its structural modification: the extinction without ordinary liquidation and the global transfer of its assets and liabilities to a newly created limited liability company. The approved figure is a corporate structural modification: the Consortium disappears without undergoing an ordinary liquidation and transfers in block all its assets—assets and liabilities—to a limited liability company constituted for this purpose. Extinction without liquidation and global transfer

Deadlines and means of challenge

Against the agreement, which exhausts the administrative route, the following means of appeal are available:

• Optional appeal for reversal (recurso potestativo de reposición) before the Plenary of the Consortium, within a period of one month starting from the day following its publication, in accordance with Article 18 of the Consortium’s Statutes and Articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
• Contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Courts of Valladolid, within a period of two months, in accordance with Articles 8, 14, and 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, regulating said Jurisdiction.
• All of the above without prejudice to any other appeal deemed appropriate.

The publication closes the restructuring process of the region’s main trade fair operator: the Consortium ceases to exist as such and its assets are transferred to a newly created limited liability company, a change in legal form that affects the ownership of the venue and the management of its trade fair activity. Interested parties have one month for the appeal for reversal and two months for the judicial route, periods that begin from the day following this publication in the BOCYL.
