The Civil Guard tenders the purchase of semi-automatic pistols for 4.5 million

The Guardia Civil has opened a tender for the acquisition of 9 x 19 mm caliber semi-automatic pistols for the corps’ equipment, with an estimated value of 4,500,000 euros. The announcement is signed by the Economic Affairs Headquarters of the Guardia Civil, a body dependent on the Ministry of the Interior, and is published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) no. 239, dated September 28, 2026, with the official reference BOE-B-2026-31386. The bid opening schedule is as follows:

• Technical offer envelope: October 6, 2026, at 09:30 hours; if any bidder must rectify administrative documentation, the act is postponed to October 13, 2026.
• Economic offer envelope: October 20, 2026, at 09:30 hours.

All acts are held in the Meeting Room of the Support Building of the General Directorate of the Guardia Civil, at calle Guzmán el Bueno 110, Madrid, and are private in nature. The competent body for appeal procedures is the Central Administrative Tribunal for Contractual Appeals, in accordance with articles 44 and 50.1 of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts.

This is not the first short-arms tender published this year in the Official State Gazette.
