The Generalitat opens a tourism campsite in Dénia for public consultation

The Third Vice-Presidency and Department of Environment, Infrastructure, Territory and Recovery has admitted for processing and submitted for public consultation the declaration of community interest for a land-use and exploitation assignment on non-developable land intended for a tourist campsite in the municipality of Dénia. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) number 10464, dated October 2, 2026, within section V of announcements. The file, with reference DIC-26/0269, opens a period of twenty business days to submit allegations.

The processing is supported by the consolidated text of Law 5/2014, of July 25, of the Generalitat, on land use planning, urbanism, and landscape, whose article 223.4, section a), regulates the public information process for these actions on non-developable land. The declaration of community interest is the instrument that allows the authorization of singular uses and exploitations on land classified as non-developable, with urban planning effects on the municipality.

The project is promoted by the company Proyectos Urbanísticos del Levante, SL, and is located on two plots identified by their cadastral references 5625903BD4052N0001GH and 5625906BD4052N0001LH.

A file admitted for processing

The announcement, signed in Alicante on September 11, 2026, by Juan Pedro Carrión Ribera, head of the Territorial Urban Planning Service of Alicante, confirms that the file has passed the admission phase in accordance with regional regulations. From that point, the project of the action is displayed so that any interested party may examine it and formulate observations.

The publication does not yet authorize the campsite: the public information process is a mandatory step prior to the resolution of the procedure.

Twenty business days to allege

The period for exhibition and allegations is twenty business days and begins to count from the day following the publication of the edict in the DOGV. The key data of the process are:

The resolution of this file will condition the use of non-developable land in Dénia and will directly affect neighbors and landowners in the surrounding area, who have a limited period to file objections before the Generalitat decides on the declaration of community interest.
