The Generalitat publishes the 2026 salary tables for disability centers

The General Directorate of Labor, Cooperativism, and Occupational Safety of the Generalitat Valenciana has ordered the registration, deposit, and publication of the salary tables for the year 2026 of the VIII Regional Collective Labor Agreement for centers, entities, and services for the care of people with disabilities in the Comunitat Valenciana, with retroactive effect from January 1, 2026. The resolution, signed on August 17, 2026, by the director general Maria Lurueña Ruiz, is published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana on August 21, 2026 (reference DOGV-C-2026-27361).

An agreement with retroactive effect

The tables were approved by the agreement’s negotiating commission, meeting in Valencia on July 23, 2026, which unanimously agreed to sign the 2026 salary table for special employment centers and for government-funded and contracted special education centers, with retroactive effect from January 1. The resolution is issued in accordance with Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, which approves the revised text of the Workers’ Statute Law, and Royal Decree 713/2010, regarding the registration and deposit of collective agreements.

Who signs the agreement

The negotiating commission is composed of the sector’s employers’ organizations, who signed the agreement unanimously:

• FEAD, represented by Carmen Ibarra Damiá.
• AGEVALCEE, represented by Juan José Serrano Jiménez de la Plata.
• ACEEI, represented by Gerardo Tamarit Fabra.
• AECEMFO, represented by Ana Bartolomé Rodríguez.
• ASELDICOVA, represented by Fernando Egido González and Jennifer Decornoy Tortajada.

Salary tables for special employment centers

For special employment centers, the table sets the monthly base salaries for the different professional groups, with their corresponding triennials and holiday pay. Among the most notable remunerations are:

• Higher degree graduate: 2,259.52 euros base salary.
• Head of administration: 1,785.72 euros.
• Intermediate degree graduate: 1,762.48 euros.
• Specialist technician: 1,465.70 euros.
• Operator with support: 1,221.00 euros.

Special education tables

In government-funded or contracted special education centers, the table lists the remunerations for direct care personnel, including:

• Counselor (higher degree): 2,782.46 euros.
• Special Education Teacher, tenured Special Education teacher, Music, Physical Education, or PAM teacher: 2,482.61 euros.
• Speech therapist and Hearing and Language Teacher: 2,482.61 euros.
• Physiotherapist: 2,319.99 euros.
• Special Education Educator: 1,799.69 euros.

The table also includes salary supplements for management positions, such as Special Education Center Director (405.21 euros), Head of Studies (262.38 euros), and Secretary (156.91 euros).

A partial agreement

The minutes of the negotiating commission specify that the signed agreement refers to the personnel included in the educational concert modules, and that the negotiation of salaries for the rest of the school staff remains pending, as well as the general table and the table for non-profit organizations, institutions, and entities that do not own any type of center.

The publication of these tables guarantees legal certainty for thousands of workers in special employment and special education centers in the Comunitat Valenciana, who will see their salaries regularized retroactively from the beginning of the year, a key step for the stability of a sector essential for the care of people with disabilities.
