The Generalitat appoints 62 officials from the A2-01 management body pursuant to execution of judgment

The Councillor approves the appointment of 62 candidates as career civil servants

The Ministry of Economy, Finance and Public Administration has issued the resolution appointing as career civil servants of the management corps A2-01 the candidates who passed the selective tests of call 65/18 pursuant to judicial enforcement. The appointment has been published in the Official Gazette of the Valencian Government (DOGV) of 17 August 2026, under reference DOGV-C-2026-26901, and affects 62 people who now join the permanent staff of the Administration of the Generalitat.

In parallel, the resolution for the final assignment of posts corresponding to these same people has been published, registered under reference DOGV-C-2026-15704, signed by Vicente Serra Martínez, Director General of Civil Service, dated 11 August 2026. Both resolutions fall within the Authorities and staff section of the official gazette.

Origin of the call and judicial process

Call 65/18 was published by means of Order 68/2019, of 23 December, of the then Ministry of Justice, Interior and Public Administration, for access to the senior management corps of general administration of the Administration of the Generalitat (A2-01), general administration sector. The selective test was conducted through the competitive examination system and within the framework of the employment stabilisation process derived from the 2017 and 2018 public employment offers.

The publication of the results had previously been made by means of the Resolution of 19 May 2026 (DOGV 10369, 25.05.2026), which determined the candidates who had passed the tests pursuant to judicial enforcement. Subsequently, the Resolution of 7 July 2026 of the Directorate General of Civil Service (DOGV 10404, 14.07.2026) summoned the successful candidates to choose their posts electronically, and after the allegations phase with no claims submitted, the provisional assignments were raised to final.

Conditions for acquiring the status of civil servant

To acquire the status of career civil servant, the appointed persons must:

• Take possession of the assigned post on the established date.
• Take the oath or promise in accordance with article 68.1.c) of Law 4/2021, of 16 April, of the Generalitat, on Valencian civil service.
• Take possession on 14 September 2026, at the place and time to be communicated through the electronic headquarters of the Generalitat.

Automatic cessations and administrative effects

The resolution for the assignment of posts (DOGV-C-2026-15704) establishes a precise calendar for the transition of those appointed:

• 13 September 2026: automatic ex officio termination for those holding any position at that time, including temporary or career-improvement appointments.
• Persons holding the status of career civil servant in another corps or scale must apply for automatic voluntary leave for providing services in the Administration of the Generalitat, in accordance with articles 151 and 152 of the Valencian Civil Service Law.
• The economic and administrative effects of the appointment shall take effect from the date of taking possession of the post.

Legal framework of the stabilisation process

The appointment is based on the sixth transitional provision of Law 4/2021, of 16 April, of the Generalitat, on Valencian civil service, which establishes that applicants who enter the civil service through calls for applications in progress at the time of the law’s entry into force shall be integrated into the management corps A2-01, in accordance with the criteria set out in Annex II of said regulation. The competence to issue this resolution is supported by article 8.1(o) of the same law.

Against the appointment resolution, which exhausts the administrative route, interested parties may file a contentious-administrative appeal before the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community within a period of two months.
