The Generalitat injects eleven million extra into the FEAGA agricultural fund

The Valencian Agency for Agricultural Promotion and Guarantee (AVFGA) has approved a credit generation of 11,000,000.00 euros in its 2026 budget to reinforce the EAGF CAP-SP fund, destined for capital grants for the Valencian agricultural sector. The decision is formalized through the Resolution of March 6, 2026, which approves the credit modification file 082.001/2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV no. 10443, of September 3, 2026).

The resolution, signed by the Minister of Agriculture, Water, Livestock and Fisheries and president of the AVFGA, Miguel Barrachina Ros, authorizes the modification of the affected financing detail annex and the agency’s transfers and grants annex, with an increase in Chapter VII of the statement of income and expenditure for the EAGF CAP-SP fund.

A reinforcement of the CAP Strategic Plan

The operation is processed under Article 77 of Law 14/2005, of December 23, on fiscal, financial and administrative management measures of the Generalitat Valenciana. The competence to approve the budget modification corresponds to the person responsible for the department to which the AVFGA is attached, pursuant to Article 29.1.b) in relation to 27.c) of Law 6/2025, of May 30, on the Generalitat budgets for 2025, extended by Decree 204/2025, of December 26, of the Consell.

The increase is applied to the grant line S1362, corresponding to the application of the CAP Strategic Plan to the Valencian Community, within the agency’s subprogram 714E00.

Modification figures

The credit generation increases the allocation of the EAGF 23-27 fund for the 2026 financial year:

• Income statement: application G0112.082.I.714E00.7, with an increase of 11,000,000 €.
• Expenditure statement: application G0112.082.G.714E00.7, line S1362, with an increase of 11,000,000 €.
• EAGF 23-27 Fund (code FG23000000): increases from 47,869,800 € to 58,869,800 €.
• Total line S1362: 59,369,800 €.

Impact for the agricultural sector

With this expansion, the Generalitat reinforces the payment capacity for capital aid linked to the EAGF and the CAP Strategic Plan, a key instrument for the modernization and competitiveness of Valencian agricultural holdings. The measure guarantees the financial coverage of the grants committed in 2026, in a context of budget extension that requires adjusting items through credit modification files.
