The Generalitat announces competition 125/2026 for forestry engineers

The General Directorate of Public Service has announced the ordinary competition, with a results phase, number 125/2026, for the provision of civil service positions of the A1-04 body, Higher Facultative Body, scale A1-04-09 Forestry Engineering of the Generalitat. The call is published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana number 10449, dated September 11, 2026, by means of a resolution dated September 9 signed by the Director General of Public Service, Vicente Serra Martínez.

The competition is aimed at career civil servants of the Generalitat Administration integrated into scale A1-04-09, and offers a mobility path toward the vacant positions included in the current job lists, approved by the Resolution of July 16, 2025, of the Minister of Justice and Public Administration and by the Resolution of March 11, 2026, of the Minister of Economy, Finance and Public Administration.

Regulatory Framework and Scale

The call is based on articles 110 and following of Law 4/2021, of April 16, on the Valencian Public Service, and on articles 38 and following of Decree 3/2017, of January 13, of the Consell, which regulates the selection, provision of positions, and mobility of personnel. The evaluation of merits is adjusted to Order 12/2017, of June 26, which approves the scales for merit competitions, applying type 2 scale.

The maximum achievable score is 50 points, distributed across the following sections:

• Seniority and membership of the body: up to 20 points (10 for each concept).
• Professional career: up to 5 points.
• Training: up to 20 points (qualifications, courses, Valencian and EU languages).
• Performance in positions of equal or higher competency level: up to 5 points.

Participation and Deadlines

Active personnel with at least two years of tenure in their definitive destination, those re-entering active service, and personnel who have completed a final suspension of more than six months may apply on a voluntary basis. Participation is mandatory for personnel on forced leave, awaiting destination, or on provisional assignment.

Applications, including self-assessment of merits and order of preference for positions, shall be submitted through the Generalitat’s electronic registry. The deadline is fifteen business days from the day following the publication of the call. The final resolution must be issued within a maximum of six months.

Positions and Evaluation Committee

Annex I lists eleven positions for senior technical faculty in forestry engineering, forestry technicians, and hunting and fishing technicians, with 100% full-time hours, assigned to the territorial directorates of Castellón, Alicante, and Valencia, and to the general directorates of Natural and Animal Environment and Forest Fire Prevention.

The evaluation committee, formed according to parity criteria, is chaired by Carmen Gómez Peris, with members Juan Ramon Gazquez Martínez, Diego Marín Fabra, and Jesús Sancho Llansola, and Carla Aloy Sahuquillo as secretary member. The alternates are Mario Romero Vivo, María del Pilar Rodríguez Carrascosa, Raul Ferri Pina, Santiago Pérez Rubio, and Marina Talavera Ballester.

The call for applications incorporates the tie-breaking clause in favor of women, as they are the underrepresented sex in scale A1-04-09, and provides for a reserve list phase for those who do not obtain a position in the first phase or apply exclusively to it.
