Por FactBox Admin

The Generalitat Valenciana has announced a total of 992,025.15 euros in grants for the 2026 fiscal year destined for occupational risk prevention activities, divided equally between sectoral and intersectoral actions. The First Vice-Presidency and Department of Housing, Employment, Youth and Equality approves the regulatory bases and the call for applications through the Resolution of September 14, 2026, signed by the counselor Susana Camarero Benítez and published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) No. 10488, of November 6, 2026 (official reference DOGV-C-2026-34081). Applications must be submitted exclusively electronically within a period of ten business days.
The grants are framed within Order TES/237/2026, of March 10, of the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy (BOE No. 72, of March 23, 2026), which establishes the state bases and allows autonomous communities to issue their own management regulations. The Valencian call is also aligned with the Valencian Strategy for Occupational Safety, Health and Well-being 2025-2029 and the Spanish Strategy for Occupational Safety and Health 2023-2027, and is integrated into the third update of the Strategic Grant Plan for the 2024-2026 period. The resolution expressly assumes the competence to call for applications, which remains in the hands of the counselor, while the General Directorate of Labor, Cooperativism and Occupational Safety acts as the instructing and granting body. The summary of the call is published with the identification code BDNS 936846.
Financing and maximum amounts
The maximum global amount, 992,025.15 euros, is financed through chapter IV of the Generalitat’s 2026 budget, under grant line S1632 “Grants for the implementation of activities in the field of occupational risk prevention” and subprogram 315A00 “Working conditions and administration of labor relations.”
- 111,095.21 euros come from earmarked funds from the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy.
- 880,929.94 euros are the Generalitat’s own funds.
- 496,012.58 euros (50%) are allocated to intersectoral actions and another 496,012.58 euros to sectoral actions.
- The maximum amount per beneficiary entity is 300,000 euros: 200,000 for the intersectoral project and 100,000 for the sectoral one.
The bases exclude the financing of actions aimed at fulfilling the business prevention obligations of articles 18 and 19 of Law 31/1995, of November 8, on the prevention of occupational risks, and allow for the subcontracting of up to 50% of the subsidized activity.
What is subsidized and for whom
Beneficiaries may include the organizations referred to in Article 12 of the LPRL, business and trade union organizations representative of their sectoral scope, and foundations or other entities established by them, provided they are based in the Comunitat Valenciana and are legally constituted and registered. The actions are aimed at employees and self-employed workers, as well as companies, with special attention to small businesses, defined as those with fewer than fifty workers.
Three types of actions are funded:
- Information and promotion actions for regulatory compliance: seminars, workshops, publications, brochures, posters, and multimedia tools.
- Technical assistance actions: preventive advisory services with visits to companies and workplaces.
- Training actions: design of methods and content for sectors with a structure of small businesses.
The execution period spans from March 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027, and any activity scheduled beyond this latter date is considered non-subsidizable.
Priority sectors by accident rate
The distribution of the 496,012.58 euros for sectoral actions is determined by a priority index calculated using the 2025 accident rate data published by INVASSAT. Only CNAEs with an index equal to or greater than 3 are eligible:
- 43 Specialized construction activities: 75,032.87 euros (15.1%).
- 41 Construction of buildings: 58,914.69 euros (11.9%).
- 49 Land and pipeline transport: 49,579.50 euros (10.0%).
- 46 Wholesale trade: 45,589.17 euros (9.2%).
- 56 Food and beverage services: 31,041.01 euros (6.3%).
- 47 Retail trade: 29,828.85 euros (6.0%).
- 81 Building and landscaping services: 24,636.35 euros (5.0%).
- 25 Manufacture of metal products: 24,367.84 euros (4.9%).
Completing the table, among others, are the food industry (10) with 23,407.86 euros, the agricultural sector (1) with 23,200.41 euros, employment-related activities (78) with 23,049.27 euros, and health activities (86) with 12,588.58 euros.
Deadline, evaluation, and payment
Applications are processed exclusively electronically through the PROP Guide procedure enabled on the Generalitat’s electronic office, with a deadline of ten business days from the day following the publication of the call in the DOGV. Each entity may submit a single application, with separate intersectoral and sectoral projects and an individualized budget for each CNAE.
- Maximum score of 100 points and a minimum threshold of 60 to obtain aid.
- Up to 45 points for the approach and design of the action; 25 for the technical team; 25 for previous experience; 5 for economic viability.
- Advance payment of 30% of the granted amount, which may be increased to 50% with authorization from the Consell.
- Maximum period of three months to resolve and notify, with negative administrative silence.
- Justification in the month following the end of the execution period.
The assessment is carried out by a Valuation Commission attached to the General Directorate of Labor, Cooperativism and Occupational Safety, composed of personnel from that center and from INVASSAT, with a casting vote by the presidency in case of a tie. In tie-breaks, priority is given to socially responsible Valencian entities.
The call arrives with the execution period already underway, which requires entities to certify actions developed since March, and concentrates the economic effort on the sectors with the highest accident rates: construction, transport, trade, and hospitality. For Valencian SMEs, the text reinforces access to free technical advice and training within a competitive framework in which only the highest-rated projects will obtain funding.
