The Generalitat grants 23.5 million to nine strategic industrial projects
Por FactBox Admin

The General Directorate of Industry of the Department of Industry, Tourism, Innovation and Commerce has resolved the 2026 call for grants for strategic industrial projects (STRATG 2026) with a total amount of 23,492,596.13 euros distributed among nine companies. The resolution, dated October 23, 2026 and signed by the general director Julio Delgado Espinós, is published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) no. 10480, of October 27, 2026 (CVE: DOGV-C-2026-33510), in section III, administrative acts, grants and scholarships section.
From 12.6 to 23.9 million in funding
The call was structured through the Resolution of June 23, 2026 of the Minister of Industry, Tourism, Innovation and Commerce (DOGV no. 10396, of July 2, 2026), with state aid number SA.124176, and is based on the regulatory bases of Order 1/2024, of January 30 (DOGV no. 9781, of February 5, 2024). The initial allocation was 12,653,146.13 euros charged to the grant line S0166 of chapter 7 of the budget program 722A00 Industrial Policy.
Law 4/2026, of July 22, on the Generalitat budgets for 2026 (DOGV no. 10425, of August 10, 2026), provided the line with 16,181,040 euros, and subsequently the Resolution of September 10, 2026 of the General Directorate of Industry increased the maximum credit of the call up to 23,879,538.13 euros. Finally, 23,492,596.13 euros are granted, 387,000 euros below the available ceiling.

Distribution by annual installments
Payment is staggered over three fiscal years: 3,431,309.82 euros in 2026, 10,391,779.28 euros in 2027, and 9,669,507.03 euros in 2028. The grants are financed with the Generalitat’s own funds, and commitments for future years are subject to the existence of adequate and sufficient credit.
Five inadmissible and ten rejected
Annex II lists the inadmissible applications, including GREENE W2H2, S.L. (STRATG/2026/5), EMBEDDED INSTRUMENTS AND SYSTEMS, S.L. (STRATG/2026/9), BENTELER JIT VALENCIA, S.A. (STRATG/2026/10), CLARIANA, S.A. (STRATG/2026/23), and TIA RITA, S.L. (STRATG/2026/25). The reasons range from non-admitted or unproven CNAE codes to non-compliance with article 13.3 bis of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003.
Annex III details ten rejections: NEOFUELTECH, S.L., ASOCIACIÓN NACIONAL DE FABRICANTES DE FRITAS ESMALTES Y COLORES CERÁMICOS (ANFFECC), THE SPB GLOBAL CORPORATION, S.L., GESTAMP LEVANTE, S.A., ARCELORMITTAL ESPAÑA, S.A., ASEVI HOME BRANDS, S.L., as well as PLÁSTICOS ERUM, S.L.U., PLATOS TRADICIONALES, S.A., PAYLOAD AEROSPACE, S.A., and SKYHUB GROUP, S.L., the latter four due to insufficient budget credit. In the remaining cases, the project was not considered strategic as it did not meet at least two of the circumstances required in the first resolution of the call.
Execution and justification deadlines
Projects must be initiated within the fiscal year of the call and must not exceed the year 2028. Requests for modification authorizations must be submitted by November 4, 2026, October 15, 2027, and October 16, 2028, and the annual justification is due on December 9, 2026, December 3, 2027, and December 4, 2028. Against the resolution, which exhausts the administrative route, an appeal for reversal may be filed within one month or a contentious-administrative appeal before the High Court of Justice of the Comunitat Valenciana within two months.
The resolution concentrates nearly all of the year’s strategic industrial credit into nine flagship projects and confirms the Valencian shift toward the technological industry: semiconductors, green hydrogen, satellites, drones, and aerospace propulsion. The exclusion of big names such as Gestamp, ArcelorMittal, or Payload Aerospace, and the dismissal of four other applications due to lack of credit, shows that the available budget falls short of the demand from the Valencian industrial fabric.
