Por FactBox Admin

The Generalitat has approved the new fares and conditions for the use of transport tickets for the TAM system of Alicante, the metropolitan transport of the Plana, and the TRAM d’Alacant network. This is done through Order 8/2026, of September 28, published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) number 10462, of September 30, 2026, with official reference DOGV-C-2026-30648. The new fares will be applicable as of October 1, 2026.
The regulation is signed by the third vice president and conseller Vicente Martínez Mus, head of the Third Vice Presidency and Conselleria of Environment, Infrastructure, Territory and Recovery, and repeals Order 6/2023, of May 23. The text reorganizes the TAM fare regime with new monthly tickets replacing trip-based passes, clarifies the regulatory framework for youth tickets, and provides for the progressive extension of fare and modal integration. The approved fares are reference rates and are applied without prejudice to the temporary reductions of Decree-law 6/2026, of June 26, in effect until December 31, 2026.

Up to two children under 10 years old travel for free when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
Plana Metropolitan Transport
In the Castellón area, the integrated fares are: standard 10-trip Bono-Bus, 8.20 euros; 30-day temporary pass, 30.00 euros; 30-day youth pass, 25.50 euros; Violet Pass, free; and daily Móbilis Temporalitat, 2.50 euros. The ordinary ticket for the TRAM de Castelló costs 1.20 euros and the regularization fee is 50.00 euros.
Transitional Calendar and Extinction of the Bono Móbilis Jove
Marketing with the previous fares ended on September 30, 2026, and tickets already purchased may be used until October 31, 2026. Between October 1 and December 31, 2026, unused tickets may be exchanged for an equivalent one by paying the difference.
The TAM 30-trip Bono Móbilis Jove will cease to be marketed on December 31, 2026, although purchased tickets may be used until January 31, 2027, and exchanged for the Abono Móbilis Mensual Jove between January 1 and March 31, 2027. The order also provides for the incorporation of Agost, Aigües, and Busot into the TAM system following the start of the contract that succeeds CE-705 Alacant Metropolità.
The new fare schedule affects hundreds of thousands of public transport users in the Alicante and Castellón metropolitan areas, who from October 1 will pay according to the updated fares and will have three months to exchange old tickets. The progressive disappearance of the Bono Móbilis Jove and its replacement by monthly passes mark the transition toward a homogeneous fare structure among the metropolitan areas of the Comunitat Valenciana.
