The Botí Foundation announces drawing and painting awards for art students

The Rafael Botí Provincial Foundation of Plastic Arts has announced the 2026 Drawing and Painting Contest, with a budget of 19,139.00 euros, to reward students of plastic arts education in the province of Córdoba. The call was approved by decree of the Foundation’s Presidency on September 1, 2026, and its summary was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 181, dated September 18, 2026, with reference BOP-A-2026-3157.

Students who have completed their studies in the 2025-2026 academic year at the following centers may participate:

• Art Baccalaureates of these schools.
• IES Luis Carrillo de Sotomayor in Baena.
• IES Aguilar y Eslava in Cabra.
• IES Luis de Góngora in Córdoba.
• IES Trassierra in Córdoba.
• IES Jerez y Caballero in Hinojosa del Duque.
• IES Marqués de Comares in Lucena.
• IES Emilio Canalejo Olmeda in Montilla.
• IES Álvarez Cubero in Priego de Córdoba.
• IES Manuel Reina in Puente Genil.

Amount and application deadline

The available budget for this call amounts to 19,139.00 euros, according to the fourth section of the published summary.

The deadline for submitting applications will be 7 business days, counted from the day following the publication of the summary of the bases in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba. Applications received after the deadline will not be admitted.

Electronic submission and data protection

Applications shall be submitted by the educational centers exclusively by electronic means, either through the electronic office of the Rafael Botí Provincial Foundation of Plastic Arts, or by any other means provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1.

Each participating educational center must submit the application, Annex I, following the instructions of the electronic office processor, attaching a certificate or list for each category showing the files of each category without identified personal data. In no case will the Foundation have access to the students’ personal data until the final phase, to identify the winners of each category. Participation in the contest implies the acceptance of the rules by the participants and their representatives.

The call for applications reinforces the support of the Provincial Council of Córdoba and its foundation of plastic arts for artistic training in the province, with a direct economic incentive for students completing their studies. The procedure is centralized in the educational centers, which are responsible for processing the candidacies and guaranteeing the anonymity of the files until the final phase of the contest.
