Por FactBox Admin

The General Municipal Budget of the La Fatarella City Council for the 2026 financial year has been definitively approved, with a total amount of 1,900,214.83 euros, both in expenditures and revenues. The approval is final because the file was open for public inspection for fifteen days, via an announcement published in the BOP of Tarragona on August 18, 2026 (CVE 2026-07758), without any claims or allegations being presented. The announcement of the definitive approval is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona on September 17, 2026, with the reference CVE 2026-08500 and the mayor’s signature on September 10, 2026.
The final approval is based on the plenary agreement adopted by the corporation and on article 169.1 of the Revised Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5. The document is signed by the mayor, Jordi Rius Gironés, and includes the summary by chapters of the approved budget and the personnel staffing table, approved by the same plenary agreement.
A budget of 1,900,214.83 euros
The expenditure structure of the approved budget is distributed as follows:
- Personnel expenses: 633,167.65 euros
- Current goods and services: 1,069,394.01 euros
- Financial expenses: 750.00 euros
- Current transfers: 61,467.00 euros
- Contingency fund and other unforeseen events: 3,100.00 euros
- Real investments: 123,336.17 euros
- Capital transfers: 9,000.00 euros
- Financial assets and financial liabilities: 0.00 euros
Regarding revenues, the main figures are as follows:
- Current transfers: 1,180,204.38 euros
- Direct taxes: 396,125.00 euros

- Indirect taxes: 8,000.00 euros

Deadlines and appeals
In accordance with article 171 of the Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed directly against the final approval of the budget, in the form and within the deadlines established by the applicable legislation. The announcement specifies that the approval is final precisely because no type of claim or allegation was submitted during the public information period.
The publication in the official bulletin thus closes the processing of the 2026 budget and the municipal staff template, and opens the period for the filing of appeals by interested parties.
