The Provincial Council puts three municipal projects out for public consultation

The Provincial Council of Córdoba has placed three municipal works projects in public consultation in Puente Genil, Valsequillo and Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo, according to the announcements published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 157, of Friday, August 14, 2026. Residents and interested parties may submit objections within a period of 20 business days, which will start counting from the day following publication.

The three announcements, processed by the Contracting Service of the Provincial Council, are published in the Local Administration section and are issued under article 93 of the Consolidated Text of the Legal Provisions in Force on Local Government, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 781/1986, of April 18, in relation to article 83.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. Furthermore, in accordance with articles 7 a) and 13.1 e) of Law 1/2014, of June 24, on Public Transparency of Andalusia, the projects will be publicised on the Provincial Council’s transparency portal during the period of public consultation.

The three projects on display

The projects, all provisionally approved, are the following:

• 682/2026 — installation of children’s playground equipment in the «Llanos de Cristo» park, in Puente Genil; provisionally approved by decree of the first vice president and deputy delegate for Infrastructure, Sustainability and Agriculture, Andrés Lorite Lorite, of July 31, 2026 (page 12385).
• 609/2026 — construction of a municipal sports facility in Valsequillo; provisionally approved by resolution of the Governing Board of the Provincial Council, of July 28, 2026 (page 12384).
• 712/2026 — new local headquarters of the Provincial Institute of Social Welfare, first phase, in Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo; provisionally approved by decree of the second vice president and deputy delegate for the Presidency, Interior Government and Housing, Marta Siles Montes, of August 7, 2026 (page 12386).

The announcements, certified by the head of the Contracting Service, Juan José Gómez Gracia, were electronically signed in Córdoba between August 4 and 10, 2026.

Period for objections and publicity

The public consultation will last for 20 business days, counted from the day following publication of the announcements in the Official Gazette of the Province. During this period, the projects may be consulted on the Provincial Council’s electronic office, in procedure 70030, «Public consultation of works projects» (https://sede.dipucordoba.es/diputacion/tramites/procedimiento/70030/exposicion-publica-de-proyectos-de-obra).

• Allegations may be submitted within 20 business days.
• If no allegations are submitted, once the deadline has passed, the project shall be deemed definitively approved.
• The files may be consulted through the electronic office and the transparency portal of the Provincial Council.

The procedure gives residents the opportunity to express their views on works that will directly affect their municipalities: the recreational facilities of the «Llanos de Cristo» park, the new sports facility of Valsequillo, and the future headquarters of the Provincial Institute of Social Welfare in Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo. Participation in this public consultation period will determine, in the absence of allegations, the definitive approval of the three projects.
