The Provincial Council resolves the Cuenca Inclusiva 2026 grants with 400,000 euros

The Provincial Council of Cuenca has published in the Official Provincial Gazette the proposed final resolution for the grant call for social entities Cuenca Inclusiva 2026, which distributes 400,000 euros among 50 associations in the province. The announcement, signed by the deputy for Social Services, Equality, and Cooperation, Eva García García-Marquina, appears in issue number 103 of the gazette, dated September 7, 2026, and replaces individual notification to the interested parties.

The call was approved by Presidency Decree no. 3,614, dated May 19, 2026, published in BOP no. 59, dated May 25, 2026. The proposed final resolution was made on September 3, 2026, following the report from the Valuation Commission, and is published for notification purposes in accordance with the Twelfth Rule of the call and Article 45 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure.

Admissions and exclusions

Of the applications submitted, the 50 that meet the requirements of the Fifth Rule of the call are admitted, while two are excluded due to incomplete applications:

• Asociación de Personas con Diabetes de Cuenca (file 1850093Z).
• Asociación Trasplantados CLM (file 1847890P).

During the appeals process, the Valuation Commission dismissed those submitted by the Asociación ADEMCU, maintaining the initial valuation of its project as no objective or technical data were found to justify its modification. Likewise, project reformulations proposed by 12 entities were authorized, including Parkinson La Roda, ADADI, COCEMFE Cuenca, FORUM, ATELCU, APACU, ALCER, AFAMIT, Fundación Secretariado Gitano, ADIFICU, ACSOC, and AFAD T&C.

Grants by group

The grants are distributed among associations working with vulnerable groups in the province, with amounts ranging from 2,000 to 60,000 euros. Beneficiaries include:

• AFRAMAS (€60,000) and ASPADEC (€60,000), for occupational workshops and active aging for people with intellectual disabilities.
• GRUPO CINCO (€10,000), ASPAYM (€11,000), and COCEMFE Cuenca (€8,000), for inclusion and personal autonomy programs.
• NUEVA LUZ (€10,000), VIVIR (€3,000), and FORUM (€3,000), regarding mental health.
• AFYEDALCU (€11,000), AFAD T&C (€9,000), and AFAMOTA (€6,000), for care for patients with Alzheimer’s and cognitive impairment.
• PARKINSON Cuenca (€10,000), PARKINSON La Roda (€7,000), and PARKINSON Villarrobledo (€6,000), for neurological dependency care.
• ATARAL (€9,000) and Proyecto Hombre (€8,800), for addiction rehabilitation.

Payment and justification conditions

The credit is authorized against budget item 306 231 4800001 “CUENCA INTEGRA: GRANTS FOR SOCIAL INSTITUTIONS” of the current budget. Payment will be made as a total advance payment of 100% of the granted subsidy, and the justification period will end on November 30, 2026; the lack or insufficiency of justification will result in the loss of the right to payment, in whole or in part, in accordance with Article 37 of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17.

The proposed beneficiaries will have a period of ten business days from the date of publication to communicate their acceptance; the subsidy will be understood as accepted if they do not oppose it or expressly reject it. The grant will also be notified to the National Subsidy Database (BDNS) and published on the electronic office of the Provincial Council.

The resolution, which does not create a right in favor of the beneficiaries until its notification, strengthens the associative fabric of the province and guarantees the continuity of essential programs for people with disabilities, mental health problems, and those in a situation of dependency, groups that are especially vulnerable in the rural environment of Cuenca.
