The Provincial Council distributes 30,000 euros among the Houses of Zamora

The Provincial Council of Zamora has resolved the call for grants to the Casas de Zamora for cultural activities and for repair, maintenance, conservation, or equipment works for their social premises corresponding to the 2025 fiscal year. The resolution, signed on August 20, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Zamora number 97, dated August 21, 2026, with reference R-202602034.

The agreement, adopted by the Governing Board of the Council in an ordinary session held on June 11, 2025, distributes a total of 30,000 euros among the three beneficiary entities, of which 20,000 euros are allocated to cultural activities and 10,000 euros to works on the social premises. The resolution, processed by the Youth Service, was signed by the acting president, Víctor López de la Parte, in Zamora on August 18, 2026.

Beneficiaries and granted amounts

The grants are distributed among the three Casas de Zamora located outside the province, with the following amounts:

• Casa de Zamora in Madrid (file 6206/2026): €8,823.53 for activities and €8,461.54 for premises, total €17,285.07.
• Casa de Zamora in Valladolid (file 6208/2026): €8,529.41 for activities and €1,538.46 for premises, total €10,067.87.
• Casa de Zamora in Vigo (file 6023/2026): €2,647.06 for activities and €0 for premises, total €2,647.06.

Justification obligations

The justification of the grant must amount, at a minimum, to the granted amount and be carried out until September 29, 2026 inclusive, by any of the means provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on common administrative procedure. The documentation shall be submitted through the electronic procedure enabled on the Council’s electronic office, and must include:

• Detailed final report of the project or activities carried out, including objectives, results, and evaluation.
• Balance of income and expenses according to the balanced budget model.
• Certifications from the State Tax Administration Agency and the General Treasury of the Social Security accrediting that tax and social obligations are up to date.
• Invoices that comply with the requirements of Royal Decree 1619/2012, of November 30, with an issuance date between November 1, 2025, and September 29, 2026.
• Responsible declaration that the activity has been carried out and the funds have been applied.

Payment and contracting conditions

Cash payments may not be equal to or exceed €1,000, in accordance with Article 7 of Law 7/2012, of October 29, on the prevention and fight against fraud; amounts exceeding this must be justified via bank debit. When the eligible expenditure exceeds €40,000 for construction works, or €15,000 for the supply of goods or provision of services, the beneficiary must request at least three offers and justify the choice based on criteria of efficiency and economy.

Relevance for the Zamoran diaspora

This resolution consolidates institutional support for entities that keep the Zamoran identity alive outside the province, financing both their cultural programming and the maintenance of social premises that serve as meeting points for the diaspora. The three beneficiary Casas de Zamora must now complete the documentary justification within the specified deadline to avoid losing the granted aid.
