La Diputación reparte 100.000 euros entre seis cooperativas agroalimentarias de Guadalajara

The Governing Board of the Provincial Council of Guadalajara has approved the provisional resolution of the grant awarding procedure for agri-food and agricultural cooperatives in the province for the 2026 financial year, with a total distribution of 100,000 euros among six entities. The agreement, adopted on October 7, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara No. 197, dated October 15, 2026, under file 969/2026, and opens a period of ten business days to submit allegations.

The call providing coverage for these grants was approved by the Governing Board in an ordinary session on August 18, 2026, and its summary was published in the BOP of Guadalajara No. 161, dated August 24, 2026, with identification BDNS 925812. This line is integrated into the provincial corporation’s Strategic Grant Plan 2026-2028 and is financed through budget application 414 48913 of the 2026 Expenditure Budget.

The file is processed in accordance with the General Grant Ordinance of the Provincial Council, approved by the Plenary on February 21, 2025, and Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Grants. The report of the collegiate body was issued on September 30, 2026, and the agreement of the Governing Board was adopted by four votes in favor, none against, and no abstentions.

Provisional distribution among six cooperatives

The amount of each grant results from the pro-rata distribution of the available credit among applicants who meet the requirements, based on the number of active members. The grant proposal is as follows:

  • Sdad. Coop. Vinícola Santa María Magdalena (CIF F19002245), file 5548/2026: 108 active members, 32,628.40 euros.
  • Coop. Local del Campo Ntra. Sra. de las Nieves nº 18225 (CIF F19003003), file 5563/2026: 52 members, 15,709.97 euros.
  • Cooperativa Virgen de la Lastra S. Coop. de CLM (CIF F19004639), file 5617/2026: 36 members, 10,876.13 euros.
  • Nuestra Señora de la Granja S. Coop. de CLM (CIF F19002252), file 5690/2026: 48 members, 14,501.51 euros.
  • Coop. Agrícola Local de Cogolludo, Soc. Coop. de CLM (CIF F19002237), file 5744/2026: 82 members, 24,773.41 euros.
  • Quesabores de Orea S. Microcoop. de CLM (CIF F13738786), file 5766/2026: 5 members, 1,510.57 euros.

The sum of the six proposals amounts exactly to the 100,000.00 euros allocated in the call. The maximum amount per beneficiary is set at 40,000 euros, covering up to 100% of the subsidized action.

Eligible expenses and justification

The grants finance current expenses of the cooperatives: personnel employed by the entity, costs of materials and supplies inherent to the activity, and expenses for attending trade fairs, product presentations, and publications. Only expenses incurred between January 1 and November 30, 2026, and effectively paid before the close of the justification period, are eligible for subsidies.

The justification account must be submitted within two months from the completion of the subsidized activity and, in any case, before January 30, 2027. The grants are compatible with other subsidies for the same purpose, provided they do not exceed the cost of the activity, and are incompatible with any other aid from the Provincial Council that overlaps with the eligible expenses.

Allegations and final resolution

The agreement grants a period of ten business days, counted from the publication in the BOP, for interested parties to present any allegations they deem appropriate in defense of their interests. Once this period has elapsed and the allegations have been examined, the Governing Board will formulate the proposal for the final resolution, which will also be published in the provincial bulletin.

The maximum period to resolve the call cannot exceed six months from the publication of its summary. The expiration of this period without a published resolution entitles applicants to consider their request denied by administrative silence. The agreement was signed in Guadalajara on October 12, 2026, by the president of the Provincial Council, José Luis Vega Pérez.

Impact on the provincial agri-food sector

The distribution benefits six cooperatives with registered offices in the province, ranging from micro-cooperatives of five members to entities of more than one hundred, and supports current expenses of a key sector for the rural economy of Guadalajara. The provisional resolution is not yet final: allegations submitted in the coming business days may alter the distribution before the final resolution, which will close the procedure and green-light the payments.
