The Provincial Council publishes the provisional list of admitted candidates for Payroll

The Provincial Council of Burgos has approved the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the permanent appointment of two Payroll Administrative positions, corresponding to the new entry shift for civil service personnel of the 2024 Public Employment Offer. Resolution number 8964/2026, dated September 6, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 175, dated September 15, 2026, with reference BoPBUr-2026-03849.

The decision corresponds to the first vice-president of the entity, acting under article 34.g) of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of Local Government, and by virtue of the delegation conferred by the Presidency through resolution number 7943/2023, dated August 3. The unified call for applications was published in BOP number 167, dated September 5, 2025, and once the deadline for submitting applications has passed, the provisional list is now being published.

Call Figures

The selection process has accumulated a notable volume of participation, with 291 admitted applicants and 2 excluded. Admission remains, in any case, conditional upon the applicants meeting the conditions and requirements demanded in the call.

• 291 admitted applicants.
• 2 applicants excluded for late submission (non-remediable reason).
• 2 permanent Payroll Administrative positions.

The excluded individuals are Paula Cantón Galiana and Aarón Prieto Peña, both for late submission (F.P.), a reason that does not allow for correction.

Correction Period

In accordance with article 68.1 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, a period of ten business days is granted to those declared excluded and to those who consider they should appear on the list to present allegations or correct defects. The publication of this resolution in the official gazette shall be decisive for the deadlines for the purposes of possible challenges or appeals.

Tribunal and First Exercise

The resolution also makes public the composition of the qualifying tribunal, which is estimated to hold 17 foreseeable sessions:

• Titular Member: David Baños Guerrero; substitute, Sara Santamarina Araus.
• Titular Member: Mónica Sainz de Aja Labarga; substitute, Ana Isabel del Pico Velasco.
• Titular Member: Margarita Ruiz Pérez; substitute, Hugo Calvo Gómez.
• Titular Secretary: Beatriz Andueza González; substitute, Ana Belén Vivar Abia.

Admitted candidates are summoned to the first exercise of the selection process on October 16, 2026, at 9:00 AM, at the University of Burgos, Higher Polytechnic School (Milanera Campus), calle Villadiego s/n, 09001 Burgos. The remaining announcements of the call will be made public on the entity’s notice board.

The resolution, signed in Burgos on September 7, 2026, by the secretary general, José Luis M.ª González de Miguel, represents a decisive step for hundreds of applicants for provincial public employment, who must remain attentive to the correction period and the date of the first exercise so as not to lose their opportunity to compete for one of the two permanent positions.
