La Diputación licita 3,19 millones en obras en Benahadux, Fines y Vera

The Provincial Council of Almería has provisionally approved four construction projects for a combined total of 3,189,000 euros, which will be executed in Benahadux, Fines, Vera, and the Moisés Ruiz Pavilion. The decision was adopted by the Governing Board of the provincial institution in a session held on September 28, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Almería (B.O.P.) number 194, dated October 7, 2026, under reference 002672-26. The four files are subject to public review for a period of twenty business days.

The announcement is signed by the delegated deputy of the Area of Development, Infrastructure, Territorial Integration, and Water, Antonio Jesús Rodríguez Segura, in Almería on September 29, 2026. The provisional approval complies with the provisions of Article 93 of Royal Legislative Decree 781/1986, of April 18, which approves the revised text of the legal provisions currently in force regarding local government. The approved projects constitute the definition of the object of the future construction contracts.

Four actions and their amounts

The economic breakdown of the provisionally approved projects is as follows:

  • 19PPOS24-27BII — Rehabilitation and improvement of municipal buildings in Benahadux: 1,000,000.00 euros.
  • 6PAI-ALMANZORA30 — Regeneration of degraded spaces for conversion into green and leisure areas in Fines: 250,000.00 euros.
  • 72PPOS24-27BI — Urbanization works for a sports complex in Vera: 1,704,000.00 euros.
  • 8PGM2026 — Installation of electric vehicle charging points and solar photovoltaic installation at the Moisés Ruiz Pavilion: 235,000.00 euros.

The highest-value action is that of Vera, with 1.704 million euros, which accounts for more than half of the total amount. The lowest-value action, that of the Moisés Ruiz Pavilion, is the only one not executed within a municipal district, as it is a provincially-owned sports facility.

Public review and final approval

The four documents are subject to public review for a period of twenty (20) business days, counted from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province, that is, from October 8, 2026. During this period, claims regarding the content of the projects may be submitted.

According to the announcement, the project will be considered definitively approved if no claims have been submitted within the aforementioned period. Each of the files includes an electronic verification address on the Council’s website (ov.dipalme.org), allowing the authenticity of the documentation associated with each reference to be verified.

Background in the same pavilion

This is not the first project that the Provincial Council has put out to tender in the Moisés Ruiz Pavilion. The B.O.P. of Almería number 167, dated August 31, 2026, published the provisional approval of project 10PGM2026, for the repair of tree pits in the sidewalk next to the same pavilion, with an amount of 5,426.28 euros and reference 002351-26. In that case, the process was resolved by a resolution dated August 20, 2026, and followed an identical public exhibition procedure.

The coincidence of both announcements confirms a line of continued investment by the provincial institution in its own facilities, in parallel with the works it finances in the province’s municipalities.

Impact for municipalities and construction companies

The publication opens the way for interested construction companies to examine the definition of the object of the contracts before the Provincial Council calls for the corresponding tenders. For Benahadux, Fines, and Vera, the projects represent investments in municipal buildings, green areas, and sports equipment which, in the case of Vera, reach 1.704 million euros.

The period of twenty business days is the only step separating the four files from their final approval, provided that no claims are filed. From that moment, the Provincial Council of Almería will be able to tender and award the works, which will determine the actual execution schedule in each of the destinations.
