The Provincial Council increases to final 98,800 euros for twelve music bands

The Provincial Council of Guadalajara has finalized the resolution of the call for grants for music bands and musical associations in the province for the 2026 fiscal year, with a total amount of 98,800 euros distributed among twelve entities. The decision, adopted by Decree no. 2026-4209 of September 2, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 170, of September 4, 2026, under file no. 4209/2026.
The final resolution comes after dismissing the allegations presented by the Asociación Ntra. Sra. Soledad de Fuentenovilla, which requested a review of its score. The Evaluation Commission, meeting on August 31, 2026, agreed to reject them as no material or arithmetic error, nor incorrect application of the evaluation criteria, was found, fully ratifying the initial score.
Processing of the file
The provisional resolution was approved by the Governing Board of the Council in the session of July 30, 2026, and published in the BOP on August 6, 2026, opening a ten-day period for allegations. Once the process was concluded and the claims examined, the Presidency, using the powers attributed by Base 9 of the call, has confirmed the grants, which will be paid from budget item 334-489.28 of the current budget.
Beneficiaries and amounts
The grants, which cover between 90% and 100% of the activity budget of each entity, are distributed as follows:
- Banda aula de música Señorío de Molina: 10,000 €
- Grupo musical Seguntino: 5,400 €
- Banda de música de la AMEC (Asociación y Escuela de Música y Danza El Casar): 10,000 €
- Asociación banda de música de Brihuega: 10,000 €
- Banda de música municipal de Yebra: 6,000 €
- Asociación Artístico Cultural “Valle de la Nobleza”, Banda de música de Almoguera: 10,000 €
- Asociación Ntra. Sra. Soledad de Fuentenovilla: 5,400 €
- Asociación recreativo musical de Cifuentes: 6,000 €
- Asociación cultural Banda de Música de Azuqueca: 10,000 €
- Asociación Santa María Magdalena de Mondejar: 10,000 €
- Asociación Musical Jadraqueña: 10,000 €
- Asociación Filarmónica Briocense: 6,000 €
Appeals and effects
The resolution exhausts the administrative route. A contentious-administrative appeal may be filed against it within two months before the Contentious-Administrative Section of the Court of First Instance of Guadalajara, or, optionally, a request for reversal within one month before the same body that issued the act, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure.
The signature corresponds to the president of the Provincial Council, José Luis Vega Pérez, in Guadalajara on September 2, 2026. With this resolution, the musical groups of the province secure the funding for their cultural programming for the current fiscal year, a key support for maintaining the activity of the bands in the municipalities.
