The Provincial Council allocates 264,000 euros to the wine center of excellence

The Provincial Council of Álava has published in the Official Gazette of the Historical Territory of Álava (BOTHA) number 95, dated August 21, 2026, the list of subsidies granted by the Department of the General Deputy during the fourth quarter of 2025. The resolution, signed by the General Deputy Ramiro González Vicente in Vitoria-Gasteiz on August 12, 2026, includes two prominent grants linked to the Alavese wine sector.
The publication is carried out in compliance with Provincial Law 11/2016, of October 19, on Subsidies of the Historical Territory of Álava, which requires the publication of granted aid. Two grants for the wine sector
The largest of the subsidies, amounting to 264,001.00 euros, is granted under budget item 02100. G/920025/78100028 to the EDA Drinks & Wine Campus Foundation. The amount is allocated to the construction costs of the center of excellence for wine and beverages in the Historical Territory of Álava.
The second grant, for 83,232.88 euros, is awarded to the Vital Foundation under budget item 02100. G/920021/48100059. Its purpose is to finance promotional actions for the wines and the region of Rioja Alavesa in the Community of Madrid.
